Tough 1 Printed Saddle Bag

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. These bags are decently well made. I have a small trail saddle and these fit perfectly. I do like having a pocket on each side specifically for water bottles. This saves valuable pocket space. Multiple pockets to keep gear sorted is very helpful. I love the fabric, it almost matches the tooling on my saddle. The quick clips for securing a slicker, bed roll or jacket are fantastic! No more fussing with leather strings in the rain.These are not large bags but they have enough space to carry your lunch and a few personal items. They only have one grommet on each side to feed tie strings through. There should be two on each side and they should be 1/3 the size that they are, or the bags should come with some sort of concho to put over the grommet and feed your strings through to secure the bags to your saddle. My husband was able to add a second smaller grommet on each side for me, making tie-down much easier.

We've taken the saddle bags on several horseback rides and I can say we have been 100% pleased with them. The lightweight yet very sturdy bags are perfect for day rides. The convenient bottle holders makes it easy to carry water bottles and are extremely easy to grab during the ride without having to stop. The Velcro closures on the web pocket holds items you may need to store but need to get to quickly and easily a breeze. The grommets for tie downs lets you secure the bags to the back of the saddle and once tied, will stay in place. The zippered pockets are roomy enough for food, first aid kits, insect repellent and most anything else we need for the day ride. We usually take a compass, multi tool, sandwich, chips or snack, first aid kit, wipes, small bottle of peroxide, tissues, co-flex, whistle, hoof pick, and small flash light. All of this stores easily into the saddle bags with room to spare.We've found these to be the perfect saddle bags for our day rides. I would not hesitate to purchase them again. These are well worth the price on Amazon in my opinion!

I have these same saddle bags in black and they lasted over 10 years. One of the grommets finally fell off so I thought it was time to get a new set and came across these. I absolutely love them! The tooling look on the nylon goes well with my saddle too. It's the perfect saddle bag for day rides. My water bottles are easy to access and there's plenty of room for small tools, extra layers and lunch. The straps on top hold my rain jacket nicely. I also like that the pack sits on my horse's blanket. It's so I nice and light that I keep it attached all the time. My friend saw them today, loved how they looked and is going to order them.

Used these for a 40 mile over 3 day trail ride. Since we were riding colts, I wanted something that was lightweight. It is easily accessable from the saddle, roomy pockets but the cup holders on the outside are too large for a standard prefilled waterbottle. Not sure of durablity but time will tell...............

Not at all what I expected. My daughter will not even use it.
