UPDATE: I contacted customer service and they were wonderful. I had a new bottle on the way the same day that I reached out! This product is absolutely wonderful and helps my dogs liver and kidney values, as his values were SKY HIGH. We started these and did blood work 3 months later and values were close to normal again.Original:We’ve used this product for probably a year now and my dogs bloodwork has gotten significantly better, however the bottle I just received is not the same quality as previous bottles. Hardly any of the tablets are completely whole, the ones that were whole crumbled when you picked them up, there are not 120 tablets in the bottle as there was about an inch of “dust” in the bottom from the a lot of tablets crumbling. I’m very disappointed this time around and will be contacting the company for either a replacement bottle that will hopefully be of good quality or a complete refund so we can shop for a new product.

I've added milk thistle to my dog's food before, but never with such visual results. We have seen a difference in a skin condition-- cysts have disappeared after 3 months of daily use. Nothing else changed in his senior diet. It may be the overall combination of herbs, vitamins, and oils. Although not bargain-priced, it's cheaper and easier to administer than buying the ingredients separately.

These are not soft chews. If your dog has few teeth, he/she won't be able to eat them. I had to smash them with a hammer. Once I did that, my dog loved the taste. I only received it yesterday, so only one dose so far.

UPDATE: pugs elevated ALT liver enzymes back in normal range after 2 months of using Chewable Liver & Kidney and SamE. Went from 295 ALT to 78. Plus we're started Prescription Ursodiol.Our pug was diagnosed with elevated ALT liver enzymes a couple years ago. First year ultrasound showed no concerns. Recently had a second ultrasound and it showed small amounts of Sludge in her Gallbladder. We've been feeder her a Prescription fresh food Hepatic Diet along with Denamarin Advanced Tablets. Recently Denamarin Advanced medium tablets were out of stocked. Couldn't find the Veterinarian only Advanced Denamarin. In my panic I started researching and found Coco and Luna. These two supplements so far has been amazing and very similar ingredients. Every morning I had to force down the Denamarin Advanced Tablets (yes they gave chewable but our pug, Luna would not eat) followed by a syringe of water. I tried everything to hide the small tablet but somehow she knew it was hidden. This was such a stressful event every single morning for the both of us with honestly little return on her ALT levels. I will never go back after finding Coco & Luna supplements. I get the Chewable Liver & Kidney plus the Chewable SAMe and give half in the morning and the other half before her dinner. I'm amazed that I just put in her dish and she eats like it's a great snack. No more stressful mornings and big savings in $$. Now I will know more if this is helping her levels or not the end of this month and will report back.Thank you Coco & Luna!!!

Got this to improve my dog’s liver values, which it did, so I continued to purchase them and give to him. This last batch was bad. They are crumbling and he won’t touch them. Normally he’ll eat anything. Looking for another brand because I don’t trust the quality control of these.

This was recommended by our vet to help protect our pups kidneys because of some medication he was on. He took it with easy. So because this is a supplement and we had a dog pass away from kidney failure, we give this to both of our dogs daily. The take it like a treat and it has had no side affects on their health or poop. The texture seems like a hard chewable vitamin. We have this on auto ship, so the value for the cost is good. It’s beef liver flavored, so it has a funky smell but it’s nothing to deter the dogs from taking this. Good quality and no complaints.
