Purchased this Prune Juice Cocktail to assist an elderly person’s regularity. The flavor is fine, but the product does not work as quickly as full strength prune juice. It is acceptable in a pinch, but if you are looking for quick assistance, you might want to consider a different option,

I drink prune juice for the benefits. You know what I mean. I wanted to try this light version to try to get the same benefits without all of the sugar. This light version has 8g of sugars instead of the 25g that the original Sunsweet prune juice has. After picking up a bottle at the local store to try I will go back to the original version. This light version tastes more like grape juice than prune juice. It also has the viscosity (thickness) of grape juice and it is very light. Unfortunately it does not provide the same therapeutic effect for me that the regular prune juice offers. I have already gone back to drinking the regular prune juice for me it is more effective and I actually like the flavor more than this light version. Shop around for the price.
