SwissGear Apex Duffle Bag for Travel and Gym with Bungee-Cord System

Working great. Pirchased as a workout bag because my clothes and boots are big and heavy. This bag has plenty or room and seems to be high quality. love the color and it looks great.

Very sturdy bag. A little smaller than expected but it's not hard to find a packing use for this bag. It might work for a weekend bag if you're traveling during the summer months with small articles of clothing. Too small for a winter weekender. Just not enough room for ALL of the essentials. Would work great for a trip to the gym of health club for a workout. You can tell by handling it, that is a quality made bag that should last for many years.

High quality duffle bag with lots of pockets and storage room. I purchased this duffle bag last year to get something a little more functional and less fashionable than the Louis Vuitton Keepall I used to carry, but I haven't had the opportunity to travel very much in order to give this bag a proper test. After a lot of travel this past month, I can say with full confidence I am a big fan of this bag. The zippers are of high quality, the material is thick but also lightweight, and the pockets are very well designed and laid out. The bungee-cord system is spectacular for carrying a jacket or pair of shoes, and the body strap is comfortable when walking with the bag for an extended distance. Every SwissGear product I've owned has been very functional and delivered excellent value for money, and this product is no exception. Given what I've experienced thus far, I expect this duffle to be with me for a long time.

So, I bought this to replace my other Swiss gear bag that I had for about two years. I use my bags on the daily for work. The original one I had broke at the strap seam. So I got this one to replace it because I like these bags. They were once durable. When I opened this one up, I noticed that durability wasn’t quite there anymore. It felt a lot lighter and the material felt a lot thinner. This is definitely not the same old Swiss gear bags from before. They did change some things on it, there’s is no longer the small elastic pouch on the front of the bag, it has a side pocket for shoes now, but it does have a large elastic pouch on the side that I do like. Overall, the bag is ok, but the main reason for giving this bag review 4 stars, is due to how thin the bag is compared to my original one which is the same, just an older model.

In most things with the exception of some tech in the future I will buy like new from Amazon and save a bit. Amazon's like new items must be stuff that was returned un needed because the 2 28 inch Swiss Gear bags i got are huge with plenty of compartments and high quality

Buyer beware. My bag arrived mashed and wrinkled. It isn’t smooth and upright like the pictures. Because of the bag’s “fabric memory” the wrinkles cause it to sag on one side pretty heavily unless it is loaded. Would not recommend buying as there was no internal packaging to support it during shipping (and maybe storage before that) nor internal support when empty.

I really like this bag. It fits everything I need for a week's stay somewhere (except for my toiletries bag, which I put in my back pack). It's very light material but apparently pretty durable--so far it's stood up to several trips, including a couple across country, without any signs of wear and tear. And as long as you don't overstuff it, you can use it as a carry on, it fits very nicely in overhead bins. Very happy with it.
