Deep Roasted Sesame Dressing - 1 Lt

I tried sesame dressing for the first time last year. I fell in love instantly with its umami-type flavour. I don't know how I had missed this taste sensation over the years, given that I watch several YouTube Asian cooking channels, quite a few of whom use sesame dressing. I regularly purchase the (made in Asia) Kewpie mayonnaise for its unique flavour, so when it came to choosing a sesame dressing, the Kewpie brand was the obvious choice. I purchased a small bottle first to test, but now I've discovered just how much I use this in place of other dressings, getting the large bottle just makes sense. Mixed it into a salad, this is perfection. The dressing blends nicely as a thick liquid, leaving a lovely coating on ingredients. More importantly is adds so much oomph to the taste. I add it to rice*, sandwiches with chicken breast and, of course, salad. My favourite, though, is tossing it through a cabbage and carrot mix - a very special coleslaw. It's hard to explain the depth of flavour of this dressing. Straight out of the bottle, it is very strong, but that's not how it's eaten; as an addition to dishes, it enhances everything, more so than mayonnaise, vinegrette, or other dressings. I've tried it on so many things, and just love the extra 'punch' it provides. I think I'm addicted. This size is very good value for money. * Really, really something on rice with tinned tuna.

Non stiamo parlando di un semplice condimento per insalata da supermercato, ma di una vera e propria ossessione culinaria in bottiglia. ​Ecco perché questa salsa merita il massimo dei voti: ​Sapore Incredibile: Il gusto è un'esplosione di sesamo tostato profondo e aromatico. Ha un equilibrio perfetto: è cremosa, ricca, con quella nota umami tipica della cucina giapponese, bilanciata da una leggera dolcezza e una punta di acidità che pulisce il palato. ​La Consistenza: È densa e vellutata al punto giusto. Avvolge ogni foglia di lattuga o pezzo di carne senza scivolare via. ​Versatilità Estrema: Ho iniziato comprandola per le insalate, ma ora la metto letteralmente ovunque. È fenomenale su: -​Poké bowl fatte in casa (le porta a un livello professionale). ​-Pollo grigliato o cotolette (come salsa dip). -​Noodles freddi o caldi. ​-Verdure al vapore (rende deliziosi anche i broccoli più tristi!). ​Attenzione: Crea dipendenza. Una volta che iniziate a usarla, le altre salse vi sembreranno insipide al confronto. È quel tocco segreto che trasforma un pranzo veloce e banale in un pasto da ristorante. ​Verdetto: Compratela a occhi chiusi. Vale ogni centesimo e la bottiglia finirà molto prima di quanto pensiate!
