It's not very thick but I don't want my Concept II to feel like a sofa. It's an exercise machine! This cushion is non-intrusive, stays in place, and provides enough cushion for the tail bone to make it a winner!

I was just as skeptical as you are given that there is no adhesive or 3M tape or anything other than a “grippy surface” on the bottom of the pad and no real installation process, but it really does work. My photo is AFTER a 10 minute row at a sustained 26s/m pace and never once did it shift, bunch up, or negatively impact my row. It’s comfortable enough, and I think if it were any thicker it wouldn’t feel quite as stable. Pleased with the purchase.

Bought this for my new rower and it literally sits right on top of the seat, so it’s easy to install. Haven’t noticed any slipping, it seems sturdy, and makes the seat less stiff lending to a better level of comfort, so therefore, it’s functional. Design is decent. Came packaged just fine.

This was a great add my rowing machine. It sits right in top so no real installation required. The material on the bottom side holds it in place without slippage. I have rowed 80k meters so far without it moving on me. It adds just enough cushion that my tush doesn't hurt after a long row. Easy to take to the gym if you are using someone else's machine.

Been rowing for a week. 30 min sessions were a hard on my butt and lower back. Just finished my first session with this pad at 60 min 22 s/m maintained the entire time. No pain. Lower back is worked with no abnormal pain. I never review items… Ever!

The seat is stiff and this made it a little more comfortable but it’s too thing to deserve more than 3 stars. Plus, after about 30 minutes, it compresses so much I don’t even realize it’s still there.

This pad fits like a glove on my Concept 2 rowers-I got one for each. There is just enough cushion for comfort-but not too thick or squishy. Some reviewers have fussed about it being too thin- for me they are perfect and almost look like it was original from the factory. No sliding around either on the seat when you are bringing on the heat of a long row.

Perfect fit. Stays in place. Could be slightly thicker, but that's just my butt! Always in my backpack with my rowing gloves.
