Nice selection but > 1/2 did not germinate

i usually go online every couple of years and try to buy some vegetables to grow .... only have had on successful season out of about five ... thought i would give this product a try ..... this kind of makes it very simple ...seeds are in individual envelopes instructions included ....sort of like "planting vegetables for dummies" ... i just planted them, but so far so good. I will update my review as i gain more experience with this product .... hopefully i will have a basket of veggies soon ... not sure if non gmo is as big as others say, but it can't hurt!i received this product for free or at a promotional price for testing and evaluation purposes. This is a great set of vegetable seeds for anyone who is just starting out in gardening. There is a nice variety and lots of seeds. The seeds start sprouting rather quickly - ours started in just 6 days. Which is a great confidence booster, especially for kids. Unfortunately for us, my 2 year old thought our sprouts belonged in the garbage like the lawn clippings so we have to start over with these. Fortunately, there are so many seeds that starting over is more of a frustrating setback than an actual problem. I suggest planting the seeds in a container designed for sprouting seeds (sorry I don't know the actual name of the container) - the ones we used have 12 cavities to be able to plant several seeds actually I found them at the dollar store.Each type of seed comes in it’s own packet with a label stating the seed type, germ percentage, and test date. The package comes with an instruction sheet that explains when to plant each type of seed.DISCLAIMER: I received this item at a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased review.

I was really happy with how this product arrived- sealed tightly in a Mylar package, I can see theses seeds lasting for awhile. I wanted to test them out thoroughly this spring, so I currently have the cauliflower, romaine, spinach, broccoli and radishes planted, with around a 95% germination rate so far. I'll update my review as soon as the first harvest comes in!
