Pulled out the old drive and inserted in into the ORICO 2.5 USB 3 External Hard Drive Enclosure Casing . The old Hitachi HD fit inside the casing snug, without any need for any HD spacers. The SATA slot were nicely aligned and fit well. Using te supplied USB 3.0 cable, the HD disk easily connected to the PC. No drivers needed, So I can now use my old internal HD drive as an external HD with this cable. A blue LED on the front lights up when its connected to a PC, All my OS- Windows 7, Windows 10 and Linux recognized the drive upon connection. Recommended

Pro: Good cable quality, fits HDD and SSD perfectly. Crystal Case looks amazing. Con: Crystal case is prone to scratches, so a soft pouch is advised for travel. Overall, a great product at an affordable price.

Average quality .

I bought this so that I could repurpose old HDDs as external storage devices that I use infrequently. It's a cost effective and perfect solution for that purpose. The electronics interface allowed more compatibility with other devices than I have experienced using a simple SATA cable.

It is advertised as a USB-C enclosure. It says so on the box but it comes with a USB-2 connector that you are supposed to use to connect to your computer. I tried using a USB-C cable to connect the enclosure to my MacBook running Sonoma and the drive is not recognized. Tried it with different 2.5 inch solid state drives. No success

El case cumple con su función y sus Chips se vende buena calidad si cumple con lo que te promete y pues lo que me da cosa es que pensé que traía un cable C a C pero trae un USB regular hacia la entrada, tipo C, lo cual es bueno, ya que te permite usar un estándar moderno de cable, se aprecia en el pequeño gabinete, la entrada de ese estándar y es 3.0 así que pues tendrás bueno puede ser que sea 3.1 así que tendrás la misma velocidad de un disco sólido normal. En tanto tu puerto USB cumpla con el estándar. Por lo demás es un muy buen producto y me encanta que sea transparente, aunque para hablar de eficiencia térmica estaría bien que pues trajera agujeros de refrigeración o que simplemente trajera ranuras enormes en todo el gabinete, pero pues esto está para proteger del polvo, así que excelente 10 de 10.
