Nice product.. but the phone cradle is a bit flimsy.

Very good quality

It's a bit weak holding my iPhone 11+. The head rotates down and the arms look to be really struggling to hold the phone. The mount is really bit weak to be from Rugged Ridge. I'm looking for another one.

Enjoyed setting it up. Unfortunately the phone holder is super flimsy. Very disappointed.

Cheap plastic which was not expected. Original part is more flexible. Mounting will cause scratches on upper part of control board. There is no right way how to do it without damage the plastic..

4/2021 UPDATE: I now have a Galaxy S10+ with a wallet case. It constantly falls out due to thickness. (It holds the phone fine without a case.) The holder shakes horribly from coming loose. It is a pain to take apart (you have to in order to tighten). My phone now falls out regularly (even without the case) due to the shaking. I quit using it when offroad completely - I don't even mount the GoPro to it anymore unless I take the time to tighten it. 9/2017 - Almost a year later and several off-road trips, I'm still happy with my purchase. It has loosened itself a bit. I took it off, tightened the part that holds the phone and re-installed it. I noticed it left marks where the hard plastic meets the soft. I'm not too worried since I hadn't planned on permanently removing the mount. Just a heads up in case that is something that is important to you. There are several reviews that talk about fixing that issue though... 4/2017 - I have taken it off-road several times and it works great. The mount vibrated with the car (as expected) but the phone held snug and my go pro took great video. (I attached a pic of the adaptor I had to buy to use my go pro.) Just got it and installed it in less than 5 minutes. Holds my Samsung Galaxy S6 and Otterbox nicely. Happy so far, will update after taking the JK off-road. See if it holds the phone snugly or if it vibrates and falls. I recommend this product.

This is an amazing fit for my Jeep. It’s easy to install, you just need a socket wrench and you are good to go. It’s looks like it belongs there. The fit is seamless. Holds a Samsung, adjusts to you can look at maps while driving. It’s solid and doesn’t move around. If you are like me, and tired of paying to upgrade the flaky NAV system, this is the best thing! There’s also the ability to attach a GoPro or dash cam in tandem with the phone mount or on its own. Well worth the money!
