I can't really judge the quality. But it works fine and I've had no failure trouble in my acura

Arrived exactly as advertised. Used this for my Civic. Saved some money compared to buying car OEM-branded transmission fluid, but this stuff is supposed to be the OEM for the fluid...I'm just not paying extra for the vehicle brand. Only time will tell, but it appeared red and looked like the other stuff I had been using. I will buy this again. For my particular vehicle, I do a partial 2.75 qt drain and refill every 10k miles, at the same time I have my car on ramps for the oil/filter change. This is recommended on many forums for Civics. This is a great lower-cost alternative, without sacrificing quality.

Idemitsu is the OEM supplier for Honda DW-1. This version is fully synthetic per an Indemitsu chemical engineer I personally spoke to over the phone. I have noticed smoother shifts after the first drain and fill in a 2013 Civic 1.8 liter. I did 3 drain and fills to get to about 82% new fluid. Keep in mind these transmissions won’t see a dramatic difference in shift quality due to being electronically controlled. But realize you should be changing the transmission fluid in a Honda at minimum every 20k Miles. I do it every 10k Miles. Never have any transmission problems. You are only draining about 2.5 quarts every service, with a total system capacity of 6.2 quarts (2013 Honda Civic 1.8 auto non CVT). Fluid is cheap, transmissions are not.
