About 20-years ago I undertook a complete gut, down to the floor joists, of the 500 sq. foot area that comprises my kitchen, dining & living rooms. As part of the project, I had planned a 30' long span of mini halogen spot lights for a planned art display wall. The span was so long that no home improvement company had a cable light system capable of sufficiently electrifying it. So, I purchased all of the necessary components from a company that built cable light systems for commercial use. The magnetic transformer necessary to drive 30' of cable lights was about 12" in diameter and about 8" high and weighed over 20 lbs. It worked reliably until I changed the halogen bulbs to LED bulbs. After that, the transformer would make a strange humming/buzzing noise once every minute and lasting about 10 seconds. I swapped out the dimmer with a new one approved for LED use and that made no difference, so I purchased this new LED driver to replace the old "battleship" of a transformer. This new unit could easily fit in my pocket, so I was amazed that after wiring it to the junction box and firing it up, it powered the LED mini cable spots just fine. The dimming range is fairly narrow compared with the old 20 lb. magnetic transformer, but still adequate for my use. And, best of all is the fact that this unit is totally silent during operation. I definitely recommend this product.

Excellent driver. Used it to run this outdoor tape light, I remote mounted it inside in a junction box and put a dimmer at the back slider, customers love it

I bought this to replace the Pluspoe, because the former got too hot to the touch, and I was afraid it may catch fire. But this one made my LEDs not appear as bright. Returning.

This driver is solid, I did return it because I mistakenly ordered the wrong one but I still want to tell everyone that this is a solid purchase it’s Material is sold and the directions come with it as well. If your looking to replace your led drivers this one is a good one.
