High quality and Very tasty
Bought this a year ago for both Christmas morning breakfast and to share with sister and her husband. We grew up on this as children raised in Maryland. Couldn't find Scrapple anywhere here in Texas when we all retired here in 2004, but thought I would take a chance on Amazon. It was well packed, stayed frozen, was delicious...just as I remembered, and worth the price. Very happy with product.

Extremely happy. I got the goods
The scrabble came well packed. All six blocks were in perfect order. And? Honestly this package showed up not only before I expected it to, but when i needed it most.I grew up eating scrabble, but have been in Indiana or other states where you can’t get it. I’m beyond excited to cook it up before going to work tonight. To get that familiar flavor. With how my mother in the hospital, this is a needed distraction.

Greetings to People (who used to be) In Philadelphia
I pretty sure that you are from Philly if you are reading this. We all LOVE Scrapple, and we particularly LOVE Habbersetts Scrapple! This product arrived in Southern California perfectly. It was still cold from a cold pack that was in the package. The taste was/is as I remember it: Perfect. I bought 6 pounds, and have currently frozen 5. I have had success in freezing in the past, but don't push it. Finish this within 9-12 months, any longer would probably be problematic.5 Stars on everything except the price. But, I have to consider the logistics of delivering a product that must be kept cold to anywhere in the USA. When I consider this, along with a not so high demand for the product, and I guess the price is right...I just wish it was as is when bought in Philly (which will never happen out here is Cali)

Love scrapple.
I love scrapple (get it from my mom); can’t really find locally and when you do it’s the lesser quality such as Parks.Order was seamless; arrived with dry ice still completely solid.Good communication from seller; asked a question and received a prompt response. As far as this brand of scrapple, it’s good; I thought it was on the dry/mealy side when slicing it (it crumbled), I also thought it was a tad salty; flavoring was good and it cooked well but because I felt it was mealy I was very careful at what point to turn it. Key to scrapple is a good knife and a good method for cooking it (I avoid stovetop, too messy).I will likely try Rapa next time and am seeing people swear by Hugh’s.

Habbersett Scrapple is the best!!!!
I grew up in New Jersey outside of Philadelphia, and we had Habbersett scrapple and eggs regularly for breakfast. It's not so easy to come by out on the West Coast so I appreciate being able to have it shipped via Amazon. It's a bit pricey compared to what the cost is at the Philly grocery stores for sure, but it's worth the "splurge" for me to have it a couple times a year. My Dad used to make it, so I'm aware of the ingredients. Warning: Don't read or research what's it made of.... especially before you fry it up crisp and eat with eggs over easy or medium. YUM!!

Great Scrapple
Love this stuff … hated receiving it almost thawed and is why I ony gave it 4 stars. … still cold and semi frozen … shipping took 6/weeks to the Califonia Central Coast and thought it would ship at least 2nd Day Air. I’d order it again because it’s really GREAT Scrapple but would INSIST on 2nd day air freight.

Taste and Price Great
I am from PA and now in CA....can't get this out here. Buying online is very expensive but I found this one, six one lb packs for $34. In PA and NJ it is about half that much. But having to pack in cold packs adds cost. But this one found a new way to ship and it saved me money. In NJ it is about $3.00 a pound, so yes, I paid double but it is worth it. And since only I eat it, it lasts and I won't buy again too soon. Had it today and it was great. Most, including me, dip in flour and then then fry to hard crust. Well, the other day I didn't have time and didn't really feel like doing it that way so tried the microwave and was shocked that it tasted BETTER nuked and so easy. So an East Coast folks who live in CA and love scrapple...try it.
