Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Tape White 3m

This stuff is amazing.I can definitely confirm that it adheres even under water.Successful repair of an above ground swimming pool which at the time of applying the tape had over 5000 litres of water.Applied the patch totally submersed and it stuck first time, with some assistance to apply pressure from the outside of the pool it was a breeze.I tried a patch elsewhere in the pool just to see how sticky it would be and it was very difficult to remove the patch even though it was under water. Amazing result and it does exactly what it says it will do.

I found the best way to use this product was to ensure the whole area was dry and completely clean.I then rolled off the length I needed and gently heated both sides of the tape with a hair dryer. This made the tape a lot more flexible and activated the glue. If it is not warmed up it just did not get sticky at all.I pressed with a cloth in one direction as I laid the length of the tape to squeeze out air bubbles.I laid multiple strips overlapping them and did the job well. I used white tape on a white fibre glass gutter interior and it has held so far.Be aware that once the glue is activated it is very sticky and once down will not get back up. So peel off the backing strip bit by bit as you lay it.I would definitely use the product again.

This is basically a good product for sealing gaps in guttering but is quite hard to place accurately as the slightest touch on anything near results in it sticking to it, and is quite hard to extricate. On a square profile gutter also difficult to get a tight fit when bridging a section from one side to the other without leaving even the smallest gap for water to get through - I had to apply some other sealant to fill the gaps.

Excellent product that was water tight for a temporary fix to broken tile next to bath. Very sticky and easy to apply.

This may be good for other jobs but didn't work on repairing a hole in the seam of my hot tub.

Used this a month ago to seal exterior wood at bottom of window frame. Wood had been filled and painted numerous times over last 25 years. So much easier just using this tape. Seems to be completely weatherproof so far.Beware it is extremely sticky, if it folds back and adhesive sticks to adhesive you will not get it apart.I cut it to length first then removed the backing tape and re positioned it on the adhesive leaving a sticky strip that could be put in position first before removing the backing completely to finish sticking the rest of the tape down. Once stuck down it cannot be removed easily so be careful.
