ODROID-N2+ with 4GByte RAM & 12V Power Supply

I purchased this as a replacement for a Raspberry Pi 4 which was misbehaving - freezing at frequent but irregular intervals. eMMC seems more suitable and much smaller than the SD card and external SSD combo, it was simple to install in a box purchased at the same time.So far so good, "it just works". For anyone else wanting to migrate HA into one of these I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised at how easy it was - backup on old, reload in new and everything worked a charm.

Let it be known that the N2+ is amazing. If you’re looking for something more powerful than the RPi4, this smokes it. The product deserves 5 stars but this seller deserves a place in hell. The power supply they include and up charge for, doesn’t even work. I had to use a different power supply to get the board to work. Also, they charge extra for the case THATS SUPPOSED TO BE INCLUDED.

For anyone who is looking for an SBC to run Kodi, for local video file streaming, this is the best option you can buy for a reasonable price. It's miles faster than the Rpi (4 and 5), much less expensive than a NUC, consumes less power than a dedicated PC, and can decode every audio and video codec known to man. I'm also using one of these for my Home Assistant instance and it has been rock steady for 3 years.
