Has anyone else noticed a change in the thickness of the drops lately? I find them to be thinner and less effective.

Yes, I think all of their drops have changed. This used to work beautifully for my eyes and now it’s just the same as all the others. Doesn’t work all that well.

Does this come in a bottle also?

I don't know if it comes in a bottle. If you are using eye drops everyday single vials are your best choice because they are preservative free. My understanding is that preservatives may have adverse effects when used more than once daily. If you still are looking for this in bottle form the best place for answer would be to contact the manufacturer. I use these drops throughout the day and use one vial until it runs dry--approximately 8 uses in one vial. Hope this helps.

Is there enough in each amp for both eyes?

There's plenty in each container, I'd say 6 drops each if not 7. I have dry eye syndrome and these are the only drops I've ever used (used to be called by co name, Alcon and one could get 60 vials in a box, those were the days). Like someone before me I use flaxseed oil capsules too, 6 capsules per day. If I do less I rely on drops too much. With the flaxseed (4 isn't enough) gel caps and one, two on really dry days, of these vials I forget I have dry eye syndrome. I had rx for restasis and it irritated so bad I felt like I was getting a style which have n ot had in many years. Since my laser surgery eyes where really dry. Dr. prescribed the Restasis and had to drop it, started Refresh Optive - omega 3, took about a week for irritation and redness to go away. 2 years later I'm still using it and seems to still being doing well.
