TKO Neoprene Wrist/Ankle Weights

I loved them at first, until the sand started to spill out. The material is not reinforced to hold all that weight.

Great quality time to add extra weight finally but these are great to start with and matching arm weights. Wear at work outside but and time your at home wear they work your than too!!

Have had other ankle/wrist weights, usually in a vinyl or plastic material that would scratch and irritate me throughout the use. These TKO 5lb each weights, sold in the pair, stay well in place with the Velcro strap. The soft edges are rounded so there is no cutting ti to the arm or lager with use. Yes, depending upon what routine I am using them for, they do slip some, but not much.Their only shortcoming, to me, the Velcro strap to hold the weight in place does keep it a resistance weight for just said ankle or wrist. If either much fuller armed at leg or wrist than one already fit, it won't wrap and hold. I was working a higher part if my leg and the weight could not be wrapped for the supervised exercise at just above my knee at lower thigh. I am not a big person, so if these were for one rightly beginning weight work w/lighter weights, but of a heavy stature, they need to consider th size of not only the weight fully covering target area, but the hold stap being long enough to secure.

I was scrolling through my past amazon purchases and clicked on this, and was surprised to see the reviews and at how many people said the sand was leaking after only a few uses. I've had this for a year and a half and use the ankle weights at least 2 times a week for my at-home leg workouts. I think they are amazing and get the job done. Yes, they do eventually start to fade and not look as nice but I've never had issues with the sand or the velcro. No issues with the product at all. I would recommend these to anyone. P.S. my legs look awesome.

The quality was not as expected, did not fit as they were not long enough to cover my ankle even though my ankles are not big. Velcro on them was not comfortable and didn't close properly. The sand or filling inside was uneven.

Wanted to add some extra weight to my walking. I also wear them around the house or use them around my wrists for added weight with my dumbbells. The metal does rub a little on the ankles after a bit where you need either higher socks or would be okay with leggings. Still not a huge issue.

I bought these for stair climbing and they are easy to take on and off. The main problem that I have is that they move around. I have tried to tighten them all the way but they still move around. This might be better if I had larger ankles. You also need to be careful with the orientation or they will mess up your Achilles tendon.

My father-in-law needs to do some light physical therapy to recover from a recent bout with illness. These are great because they aren't overly heavy and we can secure them to his wrist or ankles without working he'll drop them.

The weights are comfortable. Long velcro straps to fit a variety of ankle sizes.

I like them they are easy to handle, and not too heavy for starting to exercise with weights one can walk around with them on ones ankles. Pearl.

It's a comfortable weight to wear around ankles and wrists.
