OxyLED "Balance" Table Lamp
This is one of those rare products that evokes superlatives. In addition to being brilliantly designed, it is functionally ideal as a light source on a desk, sharing space with a computer monitor. The lamp fully utilizes the main advantage of LEDs - their almost illogically low power consumption. Two comments for possible future versions: The USB port should be duplicated on the other side of the base. Since the majority of the population is right-handed, a desk light source should originate from the left, to avoid shadows on whatever work is being performed on the desk surface. When placed on the user's left, the lamp's USB port, needed when powering the lamp, requires the cable (thankfully flat and minimally sized, but unfortunately white instead of black), to be visible. Having it feed from the other side (the rear) would allow it to remain virtually invisible. Finally, although the positioning instructions suggest that placing the lamp with its arm at 90 degrees from vertical (parallel to the desk surface) is not recommended, I can report that placing the lamp base on a suitable and stable pedestal (about 6" to 8" high, ideally no larger than about 2" x 2") broadens its usefulness.Overall, the lamp is an impressive piece of industrial design, ideal for the intended purpose.

Almost Perfect
This lamp is great! I love the design and that it's build allows it to be used in so many scenarios. The light is strong and bright and with moderate use one can go several days in one charge. The only criticism I have with it is that the levels of brightness are a bit off. The lowest level is almost unusable, and the three other levels are way brighter and almost all the same. An other thing is that there's no warning when the battery is low. The light just dies. Which can be a little irritating when you're right in the middle of something. But all in all a great product! And price worthy! I definitely recommend this lamp for anyone in need of a brighter workspace.

2 of died in less than a month
I purchased two of these lights less than a month ago, now both are broken. One of them just shuts off after ~30 seconds as if it were out of battery even after charging it for over a day. The other one only works on the two lowest brightness settings. Touching it again for level 3 brightness causes the light to flicker and shut-off. I must admit I loved the concept of these lights (wireless, led, design) but the quality just doesn't seem to be there. I understand it's possible to get a lemon every now and then, but two lemons dying in less than a month makes me question their quality.

Broken within a year of operation....disappointed
The lamp is larger than I expected which is certainly a good thing. The base of the lamp is heavy with the right proportions. The Lamp is easy to carry around. The neck of the lamp is silver, but it's not made out of stainless steel, it's probably made out of some sort of plastic or aluminum, This lamp is definitely worth every penny, and considering everywhere else I looked for the lamp, it was $100.00. Extremely satisfied with the lamp. I find that the lamp is used best when facing upwards so that the light is used to illuminate a room.My favorite feature of the lamp is how minimalist it is, and for someone like me, that is the best part. I will unlikely need to purchase another desk/table lamp for several years as long as there are no problems with this lamp or if I damage it perhaps. My only concern is the battery, but as long as the lamp is usable via the miniusb, I don't think I need to worry anytime soon.note* 7/30/2014 - The lowest setting on the lamp is perfect for waking up in the middle of the night and using it to find things without straining your eyes with a bright light. I have also posted customer pictures which have been published already. Also, I tried using a different mini-usb charger I had, The lamp did not recognize the other charger, so I would recommend using the usb cable that comes with the lamp instead.1/2/2015* Note. The charger that comes with the lamp will begin to break pretty easily if not taken care of. Still a great lamp and I would like to get a 2nd one still.5/20/2015* Note - The USB port in the base finally decided to break because there was nothing directly behind the usb port to prevent the port from being pushed in unfortunately. Even though the battery and lamp itself it fine, this simple yet critical flaw makes the lamp useless unless I can figure out how to solder the usb port back into the lamp effective enough to charge the battery again. I'm doubtful to say the least, If it's fixable I will update but otherwise assume the worst..

Not for Right-Handed People
If you are left-handed, or if you use this lamp in cordless mode, you will love it. But if you are right-handed, you need to be aware that the placement of the plug is seriously flawed. Right-handed people usually place a task light on the left-hand side of a desk to avoid shadows when writing with a pen or when working with one's hands. Once you plug this lamp in, you will realize that the plug is placed on the wrong side of the lamp. The plug of the white cord sticks out toward you, and your desk looks cluttered with the cable, as the cable sits in front of the lamp and needs to be re-routed toward the back of the lamp. This cable mess simply clutters up the otherwise clean lines of this beautiful lamp. What a shame that the designers missed such an important design detail. A duplicate plug on the opposite side of the base would make this lamp absolutely perfect for right-handed and left-handed people.
