This is an OK board. It met my need for a board that plays automatically on power up but the left and right channels were reversed on the stereo headphone jack. In addition the right channel was inverted in that a positive signal input on the mp3 resulted in a negative output and a negative output resulted in a positive one as measured on a dmm, an oscilloscope, and an Audacity spectrogram. I'm not sure about the left as it didn't matter for my use. These things probably won't matter to people who are using an mp3 player for its intended purpose of playing music instead of using one channel as a cheap pulse generator to pulse a light as a "dazzler" and using the other as a poor man's LRAD piping a modulated 14.7KHz out a long throw exponential horn.

worked for a while, then it burnt out on my for an unknown reason. I forgot what happened exactly i cant remember if it was another board or this one that was the cause of it so ill rate 3 stars. But this thing did work as described before it burnt out. worked just like an mp3 player.

Did everything I needed it to. I couldn't find the output wattage for a bit, even after reading the product page a few times, but found it two seconds after I asked the community.I've bought several more and am just waiting for them to arrive now.

Didn't work. Have tried SD card and USB. Formatted Fat16 and formatted Fat32.

Worked as soon as plugged it in, but there's no documentation at all, and I can't get it out of repeat mode. The repeat button cycles between repeat track and repeat all, but I can't get single play. Unfortunately, this makes it useless for my application.

I don't really review that often but this unit kept nagging me! I used them for last Halloween and they did not disappoint at all! My monster box box prop never failed. I bought a lot more for this Halloween! Triggers very easily by an arduino.

Great board! only weak part is the mini USB connector, it's not bonded to the board very well
