Wears out very quickly
We had this latch for 13 months and the inside spring broke so the handle just hangs and doesn't lock it.. I don't think it was mistreated, just used a few times daily. This is our second one and now have to buy another or else replace the whole door. Might be cheaper in the long run.

We haven't even used the product for a year. ...
We haven't even used the product for a year. We finished our screened in porch late Aug. 2015. It just broke a week ago, the spring inside the handle broke.
