This is a splitter, holder, and cup all in one. It's super easy to clean, the position of the blade isn't cumbersome at all. The design is meant for multitasking, holigs a small amount below of meds, and also having a small cup for a fast swallow of pills when needed. It's made well, not fragile at all, and the size is just right. Easy to use splitter that you just line up and pop the lid down- no pill flinging, no mess. Love this thing 100%

I love this pill crusher. I use it primarily for my dog's medication. I can cut the pill first if I need to and then crush it. I sprinkle over his food and he is none the wiser!

Got this to chop cat meds and it's held up very well. the grinder makes it easy to powder-ize meds to mix in with wet cat food making giving a cat a med way easier. The storage on the bottom is useless, I don't use that at all, the cover falls off pretty easily.

This device functions well as designed when new. Pill cutting works well, and the pill crushing portion works well although it is a bit harder to crush than other devices which have a more angled inner piece to focus pressure on the pill being crushed. This is not a show stopper as it does work. I removed one star because the bottom storage section, although very nice with a 4-way divider to store pill pieces, has a low tolerance for staying closed when the plastic is chilled to below 40 degrees F to simulate use in cold climates. If you don't intend to use it when cold then no problem, but just be aware of this if you do use it in a cold environment such as traveling. Not all of us use these indoors at room temperature all the time.

The best pill cutter yet, and I've tried several. I need to quarter tiny pills and it works great.

BUYER BE AWARE: The s part of this device that is supposed to actually crush the pill is completely smooth unlike the brand that is in red that has a sort of serrated bottom. As one would expect the latter will crush pills much more effectively. I purchased the blue instead of the previously purchased redversions by Easy Care and EZY DOSE 3 to use the difference in color to distinguish thepill each would be used to crush.. I guess now I will simply have to label them forthat purpose and purchase another red one.If you notice in the product photos thebottom of this product is not completelyshown.However, the bottom of the red ones are clearly shown. I failed to notice this before purchasing and just assumed that the design would be the same as on the red one that I previously purchased. Also note, that the storage bottom will only hold about 3 medium sized pills or capsules. Anymoreand the bottom will not remain securely closed and the tablets, pills or capsules will fall out. It will hold more small pills.As with this brand the other 2 brands mentioned sometimes the device will not cut a tablet cleanly or precisely in half.Placing the tablet in the cutter a certainway can increase the likelihood that eachhalf will be the same size. I have had toexperiment with how I place the pill in thecutter in order to get both halfs of equal size. Otherwise the item is reasonably wellconstructed and should last a long time. Ihave had my 2 red ones for several years.
