Icarus Wall Sculpture

Beautiful wall piece of Toscano design/ collection. Love adding to my collection. Can't go wrong for the price.

I am very well pleased all the way around and I get this statue and the driver from Amazon 10 stars. I’m so happy with the way. The statue looks and the quality and with the service I received. The driver actually followed the delivery instructions and for at least a year that I’ve been ordering off of Amazon, this is actually the first driver that all instructions and I couldn’t be happier with this driver. This driver needs a raise. Thank you again.

This is by far one of the least expensive wall art

This sculpture is a perfect example of classical art, exemplifying the dynamic joy of flight. As a pilot, I had to have it. I think that it satisfies my expectations in that the piece is beautiful, nicely detailed, and only slightly smaller than I thought it would be. But it's right there in the ballpark for a decent display size. I thought it would be a resin or plastic material, but that is not what it is made of. It feels and sounds like plaster of paris, or some similar plaster formula. It's not completely dry, being slightly damp still, and it has a smell similar to drywall mud, if you know what that's like. I'm sure that will fade in time, and that I will enjoy displaying this sculpture for years to come, but as it seems to be a form of plaster I will be sure to be careful with it.

Beautiful detailed anatomy of Icarus, the youth who flew too close to the sun. What I wasn't expecting in a 11 inch relief sculpture was the detailed emotion on the face. The artist captures that moment when exhilaration turns to apprehension like "Ahhhhhh!!!...wait, what the......" A heavy beautiful piece, requires 2 mounting screws. Don't usually spend this much but was well worth it.

I just WISH the company would creat more statue wall imagery of Icuras flying in different positions cause I would definitely buy every single one of them.

I really like the way it looks and it's really sturdy. It came on time and was safely packaged in a box surrounded by Styrofoam. So glad I bought it!

Ta figurka zasługuje na najwyższą ocenę. Piękny projekt, solidne wykonanie, perfekcyjna jakość. Bardzo mi się podoba. Będzie powieszona nad łóżkiem małżonki jako przestroga, by nie próbowała wzlecieć zbyt wysoko :). Dziękuję za tak miły produkt w dobrej cenie.

A beautifully rendered and solid piece of wall art. Sprayed it silver (I know I can’t send it back but have no intention) which it accepted in a flawless manner and securely mounted using 2 mountain points. Love it. It also came extremely well packaged so no issues with damage, which is always a concern when buying products of this nature.

Me gusto mucho. Es muy bonita. Pero lo q yo no sabia era el termino "figura de jardin" pues es para colgar en la pared. Pero como me gustaba tanto, compre unas maderitas haciendo en forma de L y me queda muy chulo en la estanteria de mi mueble del salon. Aaah si comprais la madera q sea de color negro y no pegar la figura centrada sino ligeramente hacia la derecha y q sobresalga las alas de la madera. Os gustara esta forma de colocarlo
