Not commenting of flavor/taste - I am not a dog and not going to try it. But it does work well, great product.

This product is great for taking care of your dog's teeth, especially if you don't brush them. It also helps with their bad breath. It's easy because you just add it to their water. I have a gravity feed water dispenser, so I throw a cap full of this into it when I fill it.

Does wonders for my dogs breath and do notice a improvement of less tartar on teeth

The plaque was too hard to scale at first. It started to soften and get darker at first. Then I was able to start to slowly teach my dog to tolerate scraping his teeth (like so slow with lots of fresh chicken treats!). I have only done his teeth once or twice a month. I use the Bluestem wipes before and after scaling.My other dog has good teeth. No need to scale, the went from a bit yellowed to bright white. A+ product.*I did not add full amount to water at first. I started with 1/4 recommended dose and as they got used to it slowly increased across a few weeks.
