Smooth cuts, spring-loaded. Solid tool!
Using the right tool for the specific task makes a significant difference. This tool is truly well-built and worth the investment. It has a spring-loaded operation with a clean design, eliminating any obstructions since the springs are internal. These cutters are super satisfying to use.

This tool snaps (literally)
Okay, not gonna lie—this cutter is legit. The Park Tool CN-10 is a beast when it comes to slicing through bike cables. Clean cuts, no fray, no stress. Super satisfying to use. The grip is comfy, the spring action is smooth, and the built-in crimper is a W. If you’re into bike repairs or just want your gear looking pro, this cutter’s a game-changer. 10/10 would recommend. Don't play yourself with cheap cutters—this one’s worth it.

Great quality, work well, expensive
In a nutshell, these work great but cost too much. I bought a set of control cable cutters because ordinary diagonals tend to crush the outer cable housings of bicycle control cables. They cut, but it can take a considerable effort to get the end of the housings round again so the inner cable passes through without binding. That's where these cutters come in. They don't mash the cable housings flat. It saves a lot of time. This tool makes a nice cut on the inner cables too--no fraying. They work very nicely. Only complaint: this tool seems over-priced.

I like to wait a while before reviewing
Purchased last November, these cutters have seen about 20 uses, mostly on shift cables. Every cut has been flawless. No fraying. No re-do's. They're powerful, provide perfect leverage, fit correctly in one's hand and have a roughed rubber finish, so you don't easily drop them. I've clipped 1/4" off a previously snipped cable. That's where fraying comes in - as strands are already dislocated from the plastic matrix, and only a slight turn holds the cable together as they are crushed in the jaws. The 1/4" piece was as perfect as the overall cable. The cable-end crimpers also work exactly right. I leave just enough length to use a 'stretcher' tool without pulling the cap off. Park hit's one out of the park, again with the right too for the job.

Effortless, clean snip every time.
Not much to say, Park professional snips. Sharp, precise and the cable doesn't fray. Crip for the ends is amazing, don't have to look for needle nose plyers to crimp the end cap.

Happy with my purchase!
Heavy duty and does the job it’s made for very well. A bit pricey when compared to its competitors but that’s just Park Tool for ya.
