Slightly overpriced, but it's Kewpie Mayo and you absolutely need it for Asian Cooking!
As mentioned it's slightly more expensive than regular mayo. You are paying for the import fees and all that good stuff that goes into the Kewpie name. It's a top tier mayo. The taste is great. Mix with Sriracha for your spicy tuna/spicy salmon mayo base for a night of home made sushi. It's a staple for your fridge if you're into Asian cuisine and there's no substitute.

Creamy
This is the best creamiest mayo I've ever had. I was a Hellmann's fan for a long time but once I discovered kewpie I've changed my palate. Not as tangy as Hellmann's either.

By far the best mayonnaise you will ever have (from a package at least).
For those of you who are not familiar with this brand, they absolutely make the best mayonnaise ever, and it makes a huge difference. It’s worth every penny. It’s made from just egg yolks rather than the whole egg, and they do put a bit of MSG in there, but if you do the research, MSG really isn’t bad for you. In fact, MSG occurs naturally in a lot of vegetables and your body even makes it on its own. Anyways, this stuff it’s so much better than regular mayo. Once you try it, you’ll never go back to the old stuff. Highly recommended!

Authentic!
Finally! The missing ingredient in my Kani salad! Can't source Kewpie locally and the homemade recipes I tried just didn't have the same flavor. Can only order Kani salad from one Japanese restaurant in my area (Asian Sakae) and it costs $10.50 for a 1/2 cup! The Kewpie mayo arrived in good, usable condition. Was not sour, separated or spoiled. Very happy with my purchase and the results!

Amazing, good and Yummy. Make sure your used to MSG
Ok so like, yum. This is great made spicy mayo and I put it on a stir fry. Everything I expected it to be, creamy and good consistency! That being said the one star off is my fault. After eating about 2 tablespoons of the mayo on the stir fry (yes I was craving it for some reason) my mouth went numb. The I got super flushed, my heart was over 115 bpm (bp machine) and my BP was elevated. Took Benadryl immediately, feeling didn't go away for 3 hrs. It was not fun, but it was my fault. I should have tried a new product in small amounts, but I thought it was the same brand I had had before, which after calling the restaurant I found they used MSG free and a different brand. Yes, MSG gets a horrible wrap but that being said I can't eat a lot of cheese, soy sauce that contains msg, or foods that contain msg when I looked up the list. I am Sensitive with the awesome umami ingredient and can only have in small amounts. 2 tablespoons was apparently too much, so just know if your sensitive, try a small amount of this mayo first. The feeling was like taking niacin, which I am also Sensitive to. It wasn't the sriracha, I've used a small amount before in regular mayo, I eat sriracha normally in small amounts and it never caused this, it wasn't the reaction I have to super spicy foods at all - this was more like an allergic reaction, and what really worried me was the mouth/throat numbness and the wonky heart beats along with rapid pulse. So just make sure you've had it before or aren't sensitive to the ingredients!

Can't go back to old brand
What makes this mayo so special is how flavorful it is due to being made with the yolk.

Best mayo on the planet
This real Japanese version of Kewpie mayo is very different than the one they make for the American market. It's made with twice the amount of eggs than other mayos, so the flavor is more egg-forward. It's made with multiple vinegars and it has a little MSG to give it umami. You won't be able to go back to other mayos after you've had this. Consider yourself warned!
