What is the depth of these speakers?

It's been almost a year since I saw and installed them, but I believe about 3" total. Nice speaker for the price, a little "tinny" compared to more expensive models.

Do they come with speaker covers?

Yes but there not great speakers. I would get something a little better. You won't be happy with these
