I've been having a terrible time with Android Auto with my Hyundai. I've tried a ton of cables. Had the system replaced. Changed my phone...and it would still disconnect a lot. Something about the connection via USB in the hyundai must be super sensitive to interference and a highspeed cable helps avoid it.
