Soldered right on a custom PCB without any problems. The pins aren't terribly short to solder on, but they're short enough that they barely protrude out of any vias.

Connects as should. Quality is suspect on some. Connecting cables, disconnecting to move stuff or replace units in line I find connector has broken/come apart.

Nice connectors. Do exactly what they’re supposed to.
Nice and worked perfectly for the project I had. Standard through hole design works well, and I was also able to easily bend the pins to convert to surface mount for a specific application.
