Reading and Spelling Games

Wish there were more letters
To the creator since you made this game you should make sure there are enough letters to place on all cards without having to remove letters from other cards. Especially for moms who are teaching their children its a headache having to choose only words that don’t require multiple use of same letters. Example: The words deer and pear both have e’s but there are only Two(2) e’s in the entire box. I’d pay more if there were a letter for every word you include on each of the cards. Both front and back!!

wooden letters have high odor but cards are beautiful
I like the laminated cards with the vibrant pictures. I gave this a 3 star instead of 5 because the wooden letters that comes in the set has a very high odor so I am tossing the wooden letter and bought plastic letters instead. But the laminated cards are beautiful and will achieve the objective to teach my 4 year old how to spell.

Not every letter can be used with cards
It’s a cute little thing, great for an activity tray. Cards are nice and big so easy to use. My only real complaint is they include all the letters, but don’t actually have sight word cards that include them. For example it comes with 2-Js, but no word that starts with J and no words that have a letter J, so there is no opportunity to use this letter. Not very well thought out in terms of which words they chose because not every letter has a word, but cute otherwise.

Perfect game for new little spellers!
Got this for my 2 year old son as he has seemed to outgrow all of the toddler flashcards. He does know his letters so I thought I'd give this a try. The makers did a really good job being able to get multiple letters out of one shape (i.e, if turned the write way the same letter could be a 'b', 'd', 'q', or 'p'). We started out with simple 3 letter words and have moved on to 4 letter words now and my son loves it. He will sit at his table and spell words for 15+ minutes! That is a win in my book!

A very solid "nice"
Our toddler has really enjoyed playing with letters, exploring them, and spelling out words. Some of our cards came with printing defects, which makes them a little bit harder to read, but isn't a deal breaker. The font they used also has near-identical shapes for n and u (we just use them interchangably). But the colors are bright, the letters are a good size for little hands, over all it was a great product for the price.
