Only device that worked with my 3440 monitor.
I tried 3 or 4 different KVM switches for use with my 3440x1440 monitor. Some of them didn't look good, some just didn't work at all. I ended up trying this device and it works great with just a couple of small things that don't really bother me too much.First, it can be a little slow switching between devices and getting the monitor to sync. I'm not sure if this is the KVM switch or just a DP thing but it's not a big deal. The second thing is that occasionally the screen will blank and I thin something died but then the video will come back on again. For my every day work, that's not a problem. It maybe happens once every couple of days and only for a second or two. If you're a serious gamer who goes all ballistic if you blink and miss something, that might be an issue. For the casual gamer, I can't see it being a problem. It really doesn't affect me.There are USB connectors for mouse and keyboard and a single USB wire goes to your computer. You get 4 DP cables and 4 USB cables so nothing extra to buy. Just plug your monitor into the switch, then your switch into upto 4 devices. You can switch between devices using a keyboard hot key, front panel switch or infra red remote that is supplied, but you'll need your own battery since it doesn't come with one.The bottom line is, it worked out the box with the 3440x1440 monitor where others didn't.

Works great with multiple pcs
I have 4 different pcs each for a different use case. I have it set up to use dual monitors on all 4 pcs. The main monitor is connected with this displayport kvm switcher and picture is just as good as if you plugged straight into the monitor. It can also out put 1440p @144hz if you were wondering.I have only one problem with this kvm switcher and its about the usb ports in the back. I tried to use the mouse and keyboard usb ports and the mouse would always disconnect and I would have to wait a second before it would reconnect again. The extra usb port worked fine but I ended up using a usb hub switcher instead.

This does not work, no display signal is maintained.
Unlike the previous HDMI version this DP version is extremely flawed. It does not maintain an active signal to the displays. When you switch display the connection is lost causing the GPU to disconnect and reconnect displays. This can be super harmful to your graphics card. I advise against buying this product if you dont want o spoil your Display or your graphics card.Same for mouse and keyboard, it just looses connection. How silly is this, its as good as unplugging everything and connecting to another device in effect.Unfortunate as I really loved the old HDMI version.Note: I dont use it on my primary display which is 240Hz refresh but on a smaller display that is 60hz, DP and primarily runs on 1080 widescreen on all systems.

impressive kvm
There are other brands that are more expensive and don't work as well. I've had it for about 4 months now and it's working great for Displayport switching. It works with GSync no problem. My gaming mouse and keyboard are working with no issues. Macbook Pro, Linux, Win gaming machine all work great and look great at 1440p. The switching is fast. I had one issue where all screens were unviewable (kind of fuzzy dark nonsense lines) no matter what I switched to, but I powered it off and back on to fix it. if I have to do that once every 3-4 months that is fine.

Mouse and Keyboard disconnecting and reconnecting
I own both the HDMI version and this DisplayPort version of the KVM. The keyboard and mouse now keep disconnecting and reconnecting every couple of seconds which causes the mouse or keyboard to freeze while using. KVM Switch is only 8 months old and I have applied for the extended warranty. I submitted a support request to their support email but have not received any response. Will update if they will support their warranty's.Update:: Kelly in Customer Support was excellent. Due to the New Year, it did take a bit longer than it probably should have but I did receive a replacement unit and also an extended warranty for it. Other than that, I have found this company will stand behind it's products.

Doesn’t work with splitter.
This KVM works well. It does not work with a splitter so don’t hope for a miracle there. 4K at 60hz is achievable but seems to pixelate during heavy load.

Attached keyboard keeps dying
Just received this today, I really had high hopes, but the results so far have been less than spectacular. I have a Apple keyboard that I have been using for years with an IOGear KVM. With this KVM however, it keeps failing to respond at random points in time. I am forced to unplug the keyboard from the KVM and re-attach it, and then it starts working again. I am going to try a backup keyboard tomorrow to see if it's some specific issue with the Apple keybo ard, but I'm skeptical. Perhaps it's a defective unit. Probably going to try to conta c

Good quality, tricky to get it to work with gaming keyboard but now works great
Nice, well-supplied kvm and included all cables needed. Works well with my gaming keyboard (Corsair) after a little bit of fiddling (be sure to connect and configure your keyboard first to your PC and use the same USB slot to connect the KVM)
