The Gringo S is built around Biltwell's injection-molded ABS outer shell and features a shock-absorbing EPS inner with hand-stitched interior liner, cheek pads and BioFoam chin bar cushion for comfort. A hinged eye port shield raises the style and function of the Gringo S by introducing 70's F1 flavor for bike riders who eschew the feature creep that has plagued modern full-face helmets for decades. The Gringo S shield boasts awesome optics and simple hinge mechanics for high style and easy removal for replacement or cleaning. A snap and tab configuration on the rider's left side offers speedy opening and secure closing to protect its wearer from road debris and wind irritation with little fanfare or complication. The comfortable chinstrap features brushed Lycra material on touch points and a flat D-ring fastener with an adjustable snap-style end retainer.

Very nicely put together
Very nicely put together. chrome trim is a nice touch, and quality looking. comfortable quilted interior. finish is very nice, automotive paint. even the DOT sticker is lo-viz, and actually clear-coated over so it doesn't get tattered and ratty. nice touch, not expected on such a reasonably priced helmet.goes great with the classic Triumph! Classic any bike really The metallic charcoal color I purchased is definitely lighter than black, and takes on a hint of the reflected color of the bike your riding in the sunlight. pretty neat.

Comfortable, high quality and great with sunglasses
This is my second Biltwell helmet and I've loved them both. They fit well and are high quality. I highly recommend the Gringo S. My original helmet is a regular Gringo model and it was difficult to wear glasses and sunglasses while wearing the Gringo. The Gringo S solves this problem with the hinged shield. It's great!
