Kaiser Home Original Springform pan, Black/Creme

Excellent spring form pan. High quality, not stick, doesn't leak. Glad I found this hard to find 11 inch.

Worked perfectly.

I use this pan once a year to make a family Cheese Cake for Thanksgiving. This year the finish on the ring came off on the cake and ruined it? I purchased this very expensive pan with the idea it could be handed down for generations. This pan has only been used 6 times. Amazon and I have reached out to KAISER with no response. I’m an engineer and can tell you this is NOT a durable quality ceramic finish nor has the subsurface been prepared properly for ceramic adhesion.

I was so looking forward to this baking form. I also have other Kaiser bake-ware stuff at home and have never been this disappointed in something they sell.The biggest issue I have is with the description is this line: "Ceramic coating on base is scratch resistant"I've managed to scratch the hell out of the base after gently cutting a sponge cake while it was still on the base. I figured since this is scratch resistant I can use a knife to cut the cake without lifting it off the base. Well I was very wrong - I now have several scratches in the base.Why I give it 2 instead of 1 start? Well easy it does look good (before it got scratched) and the non-stick is accurate (if you don't scratch it!)

I like that the interior of this pan is light=colored. Previous dark-finish pans tended to burn the crust, but if I set the oven the 25 degree lower temperature that was recommended, the cheese cake didn't bake properly in the allotted time. This pan eliminated that issue. The overall construction of the pan is to a high standard. I'm happy with the product.

Bestellt wurde die Form am 19. Januar 2020 direkt bei Amazon. Nur 6 Monate später löst sich die Beschichtung, dasdarunterliegende Metall korrodiert. Selbstverständlich wurden alle Hinweise des Herstellers beachtet. Der WMF-Kundendienst (Die Marke Kaiser gehört zu WMF) wurde am 16.07.20 per E-Mail kontaktiert, der Sachverhalt geschildert. Eine Antwort habe ich nie erhalten. Da auch andere Rezensenten eine identische Problematik schildern, werde ich das Produkt nicht noch einmal kaufen.Solche Formen gibt es auch deutlich günstiger, daher kann man bei dem hier abgerufenen Preis Qualität erwarten.Update 03.08.20:Zwischenzeitlich meldete sich der Kundendienst der Firma WMF und versprach die Zusendung einer neuen Form. Diese traf heute ein. Lobenswerterweise war der Nachweis einer Rechnung nicht erforderlich. Daher gibt es statt einem, nun vier Sterne.

Die Backform ist als Geschenk für meine Mutter, da ich selber so eine besitze und sehr zufrieden bin.
