Great compact camera with some nice features!!
I'm so used to Canon cameras so switching to Sony was a bit of a stretch for me. I know once I get used to the menu system and set this camera to my preference we will love it even more.

AF is terrible and many other failures (used model), buy new!
Update 1/29/20: so I ended up asking a photographer friend of mine for some help. She is a semi-pro/freelance wedding and portrait photographer w/ years of experience that I absolutely do not have. She played around with it and tried a few different lenses and was able to pull some decent shots. We tried the kit lens on another Sony alpha body and the AF is still out of whack. This a6600 is definitely going back.I have to preface that this is a review on a used "like new" a6600 from the A warehouse. Most of the time when i purchase from the A warehouse i expect missing items or poor descriptions leading me to return the item instantly. The camera came with all of the accessories except for the eyelets to attach the neck strap. I will have to make an additional purchase to attach the neck strap to the camera. Not too bad of an experience so far. The body and lens look like they were in good condition. Battery charged fine and card reader had no problems whatsoever. I was very optimistic that this might be a good find. Now here comes the plethora of issues.AF was horrible regardless of what settings i tinkered with. Changing lenses did not help either.Video quality in 4k 24p and 1080 120fp were underwhelming. Absolutley noisy no matter what iso i used.Battery life was not as advertised with the EVF or the lcd.EVF shut off randomly. Settings adjusted to use EVF only. I could still take pictures but could not see what i was taking a picture of.Camera would freeze while in use and while uploading photos; to iMac and wirelessly to iPhone.I was beyond frustrated with the potential of this camera but overall letdown that i experienced. I want to post photos of the blurry chaos that this A6600 left me with but it really is not worth the bandwidth. I would buy knew if you are looking at Sony's top of the line APSC. You just never know what you are going to get with a used camera.Again, as a used item i expected to see visible wear and tear but i now think that the original purchaser either used this in inclement weather damaging some of the internals or this is an absolute dud that was bad from the jump.
