Works great with my M1 MacBook Pro
Solid, heavy metal construction. "Built like a tank" comes to mind. Very solid switches and inputs. Overall super high quality, and best of all, worked GREAT on my M1 Silicon MacBook Pro! Here's my use case in case you're curious: From the TASCAM website I downloaded and installed the Settings Panel V1.00 for macOS software (not sure if that was needed, but didn't hurt.) Hooked up the TASCAM to my M1 MacBook Pro using a StarTech USB-C Cable (TBLT3MM2M) - didn't try the cable included in the box. Ran a line out Y cable from my cassette player to the two inputs on the TASCAM. Then used Audacity on the Mac to record - worked perfectly! Was able to rip a cassette to .WAV file. Sounds amazing. Not sure on other use cases, but that's what worked for me.

A better audio interface that outshines Focusrite 2i2
My old Focusrite 2i2 decided to go kaput on me after only a few years of use. I decided I needed a new audio interface, and I found this Tascam US-2X2HR that fulfills my needs without spending much money. I also believe this audio interface is built to last since it feels it has a significant amount of heft. I also like that the USB-C interface on this Tascam model has a better build quality because the USB-C cable has a much sturdier feel while that cable is connected to the interface and my laptop. On the other hand, the Focusrite 2i2 model had problems keeping the USB-C cable plugged in from their interface outlet since the same cable would dislodge at the slightest touch. I had similar issues with the Focusrite 2i2 keeping the plug for the headphones staying connected. As for the sound, I found it to be identical in quality to the Focusrite 2i2. In conclusion, if you want an excellent audio interface without having to break your bank account, please consider the Tascam US-2x2HR for your needs, such as using a digital piano or guitar, playing music, or podcasting.

Stop Looking for a Driver: Tope 5 Reasons this is the one!
1- Strong heavy build! 2- Phantom power is in the front (why would anyone want the switch in the back?) 3- Slightly more expensive than others but far less than many that are not made near as well. 4- Audio driver sounds fantastic! 5- The base tilts the unit up slightly. No others do that.

Beware of where you buy this form
My unit failed after about 4 months. Tascam does not honor their warranty unless you purchase from one of their authorized dealers. Make sure you check with Tascam otherwise you may end up like me with a broken unit and no warranty service.

Works Great with Linux
When you're looking for an audio interface for Linux, it's important to find one that offers all of its features as physical knobs and switches. This way you don't need the Windows drivers. This one fits the bill. It has physical gain knobs and even a monitor balance knob to let performers tweak the headphone and monitor mix (rear outputs) to taste. Key features: - XLR and 1/4" inputs. - Physical gain knobs on each input. - Mic/Line/Inst mode selectable via physical switches. - Peak and Signal lights. - Line out level. - Headphone level. - Monitor balance. - MIDI interface. There are several others that meet these requirements as well. Here are the ones I ran into while doing my research. - Behringer U-PHORIA UMC204HD - Zoom U-24 - Steinberg UR22 MKII - Tascam iXR - ART USB Dual Pre (no MIDI)

Aldığım günü şükürler olsun. Tavsiye eden arkadaşımada. Benzerlerinden çok farklı. Çıkışları 6.5mm aux. Monütör'e alıyorsun mikrofonu gene muhteşem. Elektronik bateri, gitar veya condenser mikrofon bağla. İleride 4'lüsünü alacağım.

Got this to have an easily portable interface that I could use both live and in a recording set up. (I already have the larger Tascam16x8 in my home studio, which has served me well). Works easily from the box, low noise and latency, and had no problem recognising any connected devices. Does need the driver installed on PC/Mac (easy to do this from the Teac website - link address is in the manual). Overall, happy with the purchase.
