Captain Marvel [Blu-ray 3D] [2019] [Region Free]

Film is great. Amazon customer service is terrble clearly shows it comes with a sleeve which it didn't customer service just fob you off when you ask the question on where it is.

The low reviews are only trolling- dont believe them, this is a fantastic film.Funny. Subtle as well as laugh out loudAn intelligent plot, maybe this lost some of the audience, having to concentrate for over 2 hours.Amazing in 3D- took the 3d of Doctor Strange to a new level. The deep perspective 3d is awesome. And just as 3d is coming to an end( shame of money grabbing cinemas not showing 3d films properly) 3d rendering of 2d filming is nearly perfect.Beautifully filmed.One of the best Marvel films.Enjoy- I hope they carefully do a sequel.

Picture is deceiving... just received my copy and there is no outer sleeve ( all of my previous marvel 3D Blu-ray’s ordered through amazon have been inside a cardboard sleeve) and the picture shows this one in the sleeve but it wasn’t included . :(

This movie feels out of place in the MCU, it feels Fury is not the same character we meet (only) 10 years later. The movie tries to force us to like Brie Larson, not Carol Danvers or Captain Marvel. The character feels like a mix between Tony Stark, Thor and Feminist Captain America. To make things worse, at the end she is way to powerful. However, the movie had some good jokes, it was not over preachy. Sure there where some cringey moments, but all in all it could be worse. The best part of this movie is the 90's nostalgia. The intro does gave me shivers, what a tribute to Stan Lee. I would say Captain Marvel is Solo: A Star Wars Story mixed with The Incredible Hulk, a fun popcorn movie but nothing more.

First I have to say that I am a fan of Marvel films, no other studio seems to come close to them in my view. Captain Marvel is a fair to good origin story with the expected array of quality effects. Brie Larson does a find job of portraying our heroine and of course, the film fits neatly between the Avengers Infinity War and End Game simply because it had to. The film is highly enjoyable but is not as good as the Avengers ensemble. But for those looking to collect the entire catalogue of the Marvel Universe films, it's a must have.
