Great onions. Works well in my lentil/beef/fish dishes. I like how there's so much quantity and it is more efficient and savory than simply using older onions chopped up from fresh. Keeps nearly indefinitely too, and cheaper than fresh.

I go through dried diced/minced/chopped onions like crazy! My usual brand just went sky high in price so I thought I would give these a try. I'm canning today so will use at least 1/3 of the bottle. These smell awesome when you open the jar. Of course, I like that smell! These are not bitter, and they are minced nicely, easy to measure, (I just eyeball it) have a great presentation in the bottle, look nice and clean, and they taste good! The price was right for me and probably is going to convert me into a follower! I don't just can with these, I use in almost everything I cook. (No, I dont put in desserts or oatmeal....). These are so versatile and fresh! There are nutrients in onions and I feel good about that so with that and the taste and price, it's a win-win-win situation! Also they are shelf stable for a long time. Mine will be long gone and replaced before that date hits! If you dont want to dice and cry, get some of these!

THESE ARE A MAJOR FIND BECAUSE THEY ARE SO EXCELLENT. THE COST IS VERY REASONABLE. I PUT SOME IN ALL MY COOKING. THEY ARE NICE AND CLEAN WITH EXCELLENT COLOR, FLAVOR AND SMELL. THE SIZE IS FINE FOR SHAKERS OR BULK. I WILL KEEP A COUPLE OF POUNDS AROUND ALL THE TIME.

Excellent Quality. Affordable price for this size! Smells fresh and color is appropriate. I bought this because I don't buy fresh onions all the time. But this is a perfect solution for spontaneous cooking ideas. I made a spinach chicken stir fry and added the dried onions to it. They softened up and absorb liquid flavors very well. I recommend for quality and Price.

Every bit as good as name brand onion flakes at a much better price. These are a staple in my kitchen and a very versatile, easy to use product.

Great Flavor and Perfect for So Many Dishes! Minced onion is minced onion, but this one is really great quality! I used it in a batch of homemade chili, and it added the perfect boost of flavor. The pieces rehydrate nicely while cooking and blend right into the dish, giving you that savory onion taste without the hassle of chopping fresh onions. It works wonderfully in chili, soups, casseroles, spice mixes, marinades — honestly, it’s one of those seasonings that’s good to have on hand for just about everything. These onions are great quality. When you open them, they actually smell like onion. I will be buying these again. The flavor is great, and they add flavor to my dishes. I use them by rehydrating them. I generally use 1/4 cup of the onion to 1/3-1/2 of up of hot water. I cover the bowl and allow them to sit for about 15-20 minutes, while I prepare other items for my meal. They're tasty and very convenient if I don't have any fresh onion, I don't have time to chop a fresh onion, or I simply don't want to chop a fresh onion. About Amazon Customer Service: I use onion all of the time, so I purchased 2 of these containers. I received a message that they had been delivered. I looked on my porch, which is where my Amazon items are delivered to. They weren't there, so I searched in my yard by the porch. My porch is elevated due to a wheelchair ramp that we had installed and I thought possibly the delivery person set it on the edge and it could have fallen. It wasn't there. I checked my back porch. It wasn't there. I checked my mailbox. It wasn't there. My package simply was not anywhere. When I called Amazon, the customer service representative was very nice, and he immediately sent me out another package. I received it within a couple of days. The day after I received the second package, my neighbor brought me the first package which had been delivered to her home, while she was out of town, and had retrieved it earlier that day, when she arrived home. I called Amazon and explained what had happened, and the customer service representative that time told me not to worry about it, and it was okay to just keep it, or give it away, whatever I wanted to do with it, so I shared it.
