Powerful Impact Driver
I have compared my brushless version to this one and the torque is noticeably different. I bought a second one for a spare. It will snap a 1/4" bolt. The only thing I don't like about my original is the rubber guards around the driver keep peeling loose. I've had to glue them back and in some case I just cut them off out of frustration. I have beat the dog out of this drill and it still has the power of day 1.

Durable and afordable
This is a great impact driver for the money, I have a lot of other makita tools so I have plenty of batteries and chargers, I use this to drive tapcon screw/bolts into cement. It has basic features the you need, and not a lot of extra, and for most work that's not a problem. This drill gets a lot of abuse and chews a fair amount of cement dust but still holds up. The price makes this a great sacrificial driver for working around the abrasive dust that is known to destroy drills and drivers alike.
