The touch screen in cars are covered by a thin plastic film. Doesn't take much to scratch or soil the surface with everyday use.Installing this screen protector requires some care to ensure the surface of the screen is completely oil and grit free before laying it down and having a bubble free outcome.Not much to say other than using the included suction cup on the corner of your choice and hold it up to the screen to get an idea of the final placement as there needs to be a small gap all around the circumference to aid removal should it become necessary.The tempered glass was clear, did not add any additional glare and seems to resist finger prints and skin oils.Many people install smaller versions on their cell phones, this shouldn't be any different.

Really nice product. Unfortunately broke the screen during installation but it was completely USER ERROR. I would recommend using two suction cups during installation, for easier instalation. I made the error of pulling back on the screen to reposition the screen and the screen cracked. Once the screen is on it is not going any where. They do offer returns but I and to lazy to return. LOL, I will just buy it again. But all in all it is a good product.

The product seems to work well, and smudges wipe off easily too. Good fit and easy to install. Nice product.
