Great for organizing dumbbells!! Very happy with purchase.
I purchased this to organize my dumbbells. Prior to this I had them all in a bin and it was very annoying to locate the ones I needed. I got this dumbbell weight rack in the color green - it is a very nice lime green which I am very happy with. Warning that it does have a weird smell when you first open it. Assembling this was relatively easy. I actually referred to a YouTube video (titled: CAP Dumbbell rack Kit with 150 LBS of Dumbbells ....AMAZON DEAL) to make sure I was doing everything correctly, as the directions included are not super clear. You WILL need an adjustable wrench to assemble this; you will not be able to tighten the nuts without a wrench. Use the adjustable wrench (not included) to hold the nuts in place, then spin the screws with the included Allen Wrench until tight. Or vice versa, hold the Allen Wrench to keep the screws in place and spin nuts with the wrench until tight. There is one extra washer included. Currently I have all of my dumbbells from 2lbs to 10lbs. Even the small 2lb weights fit perfectly. At this time I do not have anything heavier than 10lbs, but it appears that there is more than enough spacing on the rack to store the dumbbells! I also appreciate that these come with a rubber liner to hold the weights - these are already installed on the rack, no need to assemble them yourself! Overall I find it to be very sturdy, compact, and does exactly what it's supposed to do! Also if you're like me, you might be wondering if you can store stuff under the A frame... while there is a bar across the bottom, it doesn't stick up very far. So you can store things under there like heavier weights, shoes, accessories, etc. Overall very happy with my purchase and included pics of the green color! I love it!

Nice rack
This is a nice rack to hold my dumbbells. I have a set of 10, 12, 15, and 20 pound neoprene weights. This rack has protectors on each shelf to help prevent the handle of the weight from getting damaged and it kinda works for the neoprene weights. I’m extra careful setting them on the rack. If you aren’t, the rack will tear up the handles of the dumbbells and ruin them. I’ve thought about putting some thing else on there to help protect them but haven’t got around it. Other than that, the frame feels sturdy and has held up just fine for the 9 months I’ve owned it. It was super easy to put together and doesn’t take up too much space. It was a good price for what you get.

Great little dumbell rack
Excellent little dumbell stand. Doesn't hold a lot of weights but it's not meant to. Does exactly as is intended. Tidies up a cluttered gym area and takes up minimal space to do so. Simple enough to put together. Only with the would have had a size specific flat wrench for assembly. Had a thick Allan wrench, but that was all for assembly. Color and look is very nice as well. Great little home gym rack.

Get it!
I read the reviews before purchasing and wanted to ease others’ minds about a couple things people found to be an issue but I did not. The stand is not wobbly, just tighten the bolts really well and use the washers, maybe use a power tool if you have one. My 10, 12, 15, 20 and 25 lb dumbbells fit very nicely, I think the 10 and 12 just barely touch but not bad. It IS a finger smasher if you’re trying to put the weights in quickly but I use two hands for the heavier weight and a pinch motion for the lighter ones, it’s not a deal breaker. Overall this is such a great stand for the price, I love that it stores all the main dumbbells I use vertically and doesn’t take up a bunch of space!

Cap Barbell Dumbbell weight rack: A Comprehensive Review
1. Sturdiness and Durability The Cap Barbell Dumbbell weight rack lives up to its promise of being sturdy. As someone who values safety during workouts, I appreciate the solid construction. It confidently cradles my dumbbells, whether they’re 15 lbs or 20 lbs. Even with heavier weights, I haven’t noticed any wobbling or instability. 2. Aesthetic Appeal The sleek white color of the stand adds a touch of modern elegance to my home gym. It seamlessly blends with our decor, creating a clean and inviting workout space. No more eyesores—just a minimalist design that complements any environment. 3. Practicality and Ease of Use Setting up the dumbbell stand was straightforward. Minimal assembly required—always a win! The stand’s compact design doesn’t hog precious floor space. It’s like having a designated spot for my dumbbells without sacrificing room aesthetics. 4. The “Distance Between Hooks” Quirk Now, let’s address the elephant in the room—the distance between hooks. While the stand accommodates various dumbbell sizes, I share your concern. Sometimes, when placing the dumbbells back, I’ve had a close call with my fingers. It’s not a deal-breaker, though. A gentle reminder to be cautious while re-racking the weights does the trick. 5. Price Point and Quality Considering the affordable price, this rack delivers excellent value. Sure, there’s room for improvement, but it’s a minor trade-off. The built quality compensates for any minor inconveniences. Plus, it’s a small price to pay for keeping my dumbbells organized and within arm’s reach. 6. Final Verdict In summary, CAP Barbell dumbbell rack is a reliable companion for your strength training sessions. Whether you’re a seasoned lifter or a beginner, it ticks most boxes: stability, aesthetics, and functionality. Just remember to mind those fingers during re-racking! Disclaimer: This review reflects my personal experience, and individual preferences may vary. Always exercise caution and follow safety guidelines when handling weights.

Works
Sturdy, a bit complicated to put it together, and it has a chemical smell, I had to put it under the sun and it went away. But one part that hold the weight came off, it does not affect the purpose because the weight push it down so I think it would be ok

I spent WAY too much time looking at different small barbell rack listings on Amazon and elsewhere. Many look shoddily built, too small, too big, no rubber grips to stop scratches - and worst of all, the reviews are so contradictory and confusing. I narrowed my shortlist to 3-4 items, but NOTHING, not the listings, nor the reviews told me what I really wanted to know. In the end I chose the "CAP Barbell Black A Frame Dumbbell Rack" because; - First off this rack is super easy to assemble & very stable (unlike many reviews say). All you need is a spanner, or best a socket wrench (have), and it took me less than 10 minutes, fully done. - I have 3 sets of 10kg, 12.5kg & 15kg Dumbells (~22/27/33 pounds) - so I wanted a 3 to 4x rack (this one is 5x). - It's well balanced, has a wide base, so is rock solid and it's specs say it holds 91kg (200 pounds). I have 75kg on it, so could add 2x 7.5kg and be under spec - and it's easily strong enough to hold a pair of 20kg, so 115kg (over spec) so it's very stable & strong WEIGHT wise. SIZE wise (as in Hex head) is trickier. - Those are kind of medium weights for an average Man, heavy for a Woman. So they're kind of larger hex heads - so the spacing between each "hook" is important. AND THAT is what I couldn't find anywhere. - Many reviews are by Women, and they say it's hard to assemble (it's not) and sometimes for little "chick's" neoprene colourful weights they don't fit and so on...or sometimes reviews are by Guys with HEAVY weights - like 20kg, 25kg, and those suckers have BIG hex heads, so they won't fit so well. - But if you're like me, and you have, say, 5kg, 7.5kg, 10kg, 12.5kg, 15kg & even 20kg large rubber head (just, especially if you only have 3-4 sets, depending on weight/size) hex dumbbells, this is a great rack. - The sizes I mention I have aren't too big - they JUST fit. But above that, you need a much bigger style of rack. This is a budget, cheap, $60AUD rack, and it works great for my small home gym. Probably also totally suitable for the smaller, candy coloured "chick's" weights. - Another problem people mention is not being able to fit your hand in between to lift the dumbbell out. I have smallish hands for a Man, and I can (just) do it for 10kg, but heavier, no - BUT that's not how you should lift heavy dumbbells out anyway - my 5th photo shows how you're meant to do it with two hands. --> FINALLY here is what I COULDN'T find ANYWHERE (for any racks!). My 6th photo shows what I suspected...the "gap" between each "hook" gets smaller as you go up. So my 3x dumbbell sets fit fine on top of each other at the BOTTOM. But at the top/they don't fit! As you can see I spaced them out anyway. My pic 6 shows with a tape measure, and they lose 2cm per "hook" as you go up. Hope this helps save some people time. But unless you have really heavy weights, I recommend this as really good home gym dumbbell rack.

Item came well packed, with an instruction sheet. The instructions are nowhere near lego quality, but if you have assembled stuff before, it is not rocket size. Took me about 20 mins to carefully self assemble it. If you have 2 persons, can be done in 10 mins. Need a wrench (not included) and Allen key (included). All in, very stable shelf with tiny footprint. If your hands are large, you may find it a bit difficult to take the dumbbells out due to the width of the holder, but overall I am happy with the purchase. I am fitting this rack with a pair of 8 , 10 , 12, 15 and 20 lbs. If you have significantly heavy set of weights from 16 to 40 lbs, this rack will not fit, as the dumbbells will be too big for the vertical space it provides. Hence, i would say, if you have 5 pairs, starting with 6 - 8 lbs and ending with 25 lbs, it should fit fine! After using this for 2 weeks, I realised that you CAN actually fit 20 to 40 lbs dumbbells, if you like. However, you will probably be able to fit just 3 pairs (not 5 pairs), leaving the alternate 'row' free.

For the price it’s unbeatable. As stated by others this rack is mostly for smaller weights but I managed to make it work with pairs of 15kg, 12,5kg, 10kg and 7,5kg. The bigger weights are a little difficult to get in and out but it still works.
