Cap Barbell Dumbbell weight rack: A Comprehensive Review
1. Sturdiness and DurabilityThe Cap Barbell Dumbbell weight rack lives up to its promise of being sturdy. As someone who values safety during workouts, I appreciate the solid construction. It confidently cradles my dumbbells, whether they’re 15 lbs or 20 lbs. Even with heavier weights, I haven’t noticed any wobbling or instability.2. Aesthetic AppealThe sleek white color of the stand adds a touch of modern elegance to my home gym. It seamlessly blends with our decor, creating a clean and inviting workout space. No more eyesores—just a minimalist design that complements any environment.3. Practicality and Ease of UseSetting up the dumbbell stand was straightforward. Minimal assembly required—always a win! The stand’s compact design doesn’t hog precious floor space. It’s like having a designated spot for my dumbbells without sacrificing room aesthetics.4. The “Distance Between Hooks” QuirkNow, let’s address the elephant in the room—the distance between hooks. While the stand accommodates various dumbbell sizes, I share your concern. Sometimes, when placing the dumbbells back, I’ve had a close call with my fingers. It’s not a deal-breaker, though. A gentle reminder to be cautious while re-racking the weights does the trick.5. Price Point and QualityConsidering the affordable price, this rack delivers excellent value. Sure, there’s room for improvement, but it’s a minor trade-off. The built quality compensates for any minor inconveniences. Plus, it’s a small price to pay for keeping my dumbbells organized and within arm’s reach.6. Final VerdictIn summary, CAP Barbell dumbbell rack is a reliable companion for your strength training sessions. Whether you’re a seasoned lifter or a beginner, it ticks most boxes: stability, aesthetics, and functionality. Just remember to mind those fingers during re-racking!Disclaimer: This review reflects my personal experience, and individual preferences may vary. Always exercise caution and follow safety guidelines when handling weights.

Excellent weight rack – sturdy, sleek, and protective.
I'm very satisfied with this rack for dumbbells. It's sturdy and stable, with a clean, sleek look that fits in well with any home gym setup. One of the standout features is the wide edge where the dumbbells rest, which helps protect the vinyl coating on the weights – a big plus for maintaining their condition over time. The spacing between the two side rails is quite narrow, which might be a little tight for those with larger hands, but it's perfect for my weight set, which has a relatively short grip. In fact, if the spacing had been any wider, my dumbbells wouldn’t have fit properly.Overall, a great product that combines function with good design. Highly recommended!

Be careful not to pinch your fingers
I bought this rack so that my dumbbells would take up less horizontal space. It has the perfect number of slots for my 5-25lb set of dumbbells.Having a ratchet set made it easier to put together. There were some openings that seemed slightly off, so I had to really crank on my ratchet to force it into the right position. I might've been able to solve this by loosening all of the bolts and then slowly re-tightening them bit by bit, but I didn't feel like going to that effort since I had the right tools for the job. It might be a bit more of a struggle to put together if you don't have your own tools. After building it, it looks great, is solid, and seems to be made of good, sturdy metal. The one part about it that bothers me is how close together the two sides of the cradles are. When you are holding a dumbbell in one hand and try to place the dumbbell into one of the cradles, the metal pieces are too narrow to simply guide it down all the way without pinching your hand under the weight of the dumbbell. So it's often pretty awkward to return dumbbells to their cradle. To fix this, the weight rack would have to be more bulky, though, and surely more expensive, so I'm not too bothered given how inexpensive it was. Anything much heavier than the 25lb dumbbells that I have in the rack might start to be a real problem, but I think it's a great, cheap option for lighter dumbbells that aren't difficult for you to move around.

Works Well and Looks Good
This thing was a bit of a pain to assemble. Not because it was difficult or confusing, it was just annoying. But you only have to assemble it once. After it’s put together, this rack is a beast and it looks really nice too. I went with the blue one and it holds my dumbbells with no issues or wobbling. I have 2x 15, 20, 25 and 30 pound dumbbells and it supports them no problem. The only complaint is minor - when you’re picking them up or putting them back, the width of the space for your hand and the bar/grip on the dumbbell is kinda tight. It’s a great value for the price, is sturdy and you don’t have to worry about the weight capacity unless you’re trying to load it down with multiple 50+ pound dumbbells.

The CAP company has the most perfect products for all fitness equipment
Love this rack it is a small footprint easy to assemble and very sturdy, made from metal and rubber that the weights sit on, perfect to hold my 10,15-,20-,25- and 30-pound dumbbell sets. Please NOTE: The dumbbells I use are the same brand as the stand made by CAP.

Dumb bell rack ( green )
Box smelled & looked dirty / shop worn . Address label was very small and stuck on one end of the box .Good news , the dumb bell rack was clean . Takes about 5 minutes to put together . Well made . Does the job .They include the Allen key . But you will need a socket wrench or box wrench to tighten the nuts fully . They don'tspin freely . Update ...The rack looks clean , but it has a very strong smell as well !
