Starter Bundle – reMarkable 2 is The Original Paper Tablet | Includes Black and White 10.3” Writing Tablet, Marker Plus Pen with Built-in Eraser

A business associate has a remarkable 2 and I thought it would be great for my line of work, which requires a lot of note taking and interviewing. I really like has its a no nonsense kind of pad. No bells and whistles, just a pad to take notes, organize folders and files, reading and writing on documents and ebooks. The price is pretty steep but not have to carry around 4 or 5 notebooks and digging through them to find something is nice.

I’m very happy with this reMarkable. It’s a great product. Writing feels natural. Synchronization is great so all is backed up. So many templates to use. It makes note taking and organizing so easy. Wonderful design.

I’m impressed. Was hesitant after reading the reviews. I am happy I didn’t listen and got this. The product is well made, durable, simple to use, and isn’t distracting like my iPad. The tablet is lightweight and looks fantastic. The pencil feels particularly like writing on a paper surface. Love the eraser on the back and it works perfectly. I am confused why I must sign up and pay money to use the app when the device is pricey as is. So I honestly have not used the app.

This was truly worth it! Being able to use it for work purposes, as a calendar, a church note taker and etc!

After doing extensive research with different review pages and videos, I decided to give Remarkable 2 a try since. I was very hesitant at first since I felt I couldn't justify the price. I could easily get a different device that could do much more for the same price, however, writing and being organized is what I was looking, and Remarkable was just that. After I receive it, I proceeded to start using it. I was at awe with how SIMPLE this device is to use. As I continued using it for my day to day note taking and organizing my daily, weekly planners, I felt in love with the feel of how accurate the writing is. However, in less than a week, I realized that something was missing. After going on their website, I noticed they had a newer version, The Paper Pro version. At around $700 range, it was really outside of my initial budget, but this unit seemed to fix many of the major complaints that the Remarkable 2 had. Light, Color, More memory, slightly bigger screen, more battery life. I ended up returning this item and will eventually get the Paper Pro when it gets a better price, right now, I can't justify spending that much for what this unit does.

I was so excited to try and make this work! Final update on January 23rd. Verified this was delivered to me on January 12th. Seller asked me to go to a different website, initiate a return with a video upload and a bunch of other work! I haven't had this product but 2 weeks and have gone through 2 tips and now I cannot even replace the tip and use this. I wouldn't mind hiving this more time, but it's concerning to see what the process looks like to get replacement parts after a mere 2 weeks! I can't go through this every time because it seems like I will have a problem each week with this unit, as that's how it's averaged. Owned the product 2 weeks. Have had 2 problems with this last one not being something I can fix! It's really disappointing! I loved this when it worked. I have attempted to use this at work since January 12th receiving it. I work Monday through Friday. There have been 2 days now that I haven't been able to use this at all. It's not paying off. I'm going back to my Rocketbook. I will be initiating a defective product return through Amazon as that's why I buy through Amazon. No hassle shopping. So easy! You have to understand in 2 weeks this is my 2nd issue. I don't want to be constantly logging onto a website each and every time I have an issue with this product on order to be believed and have their warranty honored. Rocketbook is lower cost, not as technical so there are less issues! I would not recommend this unless you want to be going back and forth every time you have an issue which could be each and every week! Update - on Jan 23rd I came into work and attempted to use my pen. Once again it would not write. This time, I cannot get the old tip out to write. I contacted the seller. I am ok with assuming I received a defective pen. I would love to give this product at least a 30 day use to see if it's worth it. So far, it's not worth it! Update- on Jan 18th after maybe a mere week of use, my marker tip has stopped writing . It's disappointing to spend so much on a product to have an issue so soon. However, there were plenty of Master tips included and easily changed to have the pen functioning. I am hoping my next tip last longer than 7 days. I had 1 tip in the pen plus 9 extra. I ordered this to help myself keep track of projects in my personal and professional life. I love how light weight and easy this is to carry around. I usually buy spiral notebooks and use those for record keeping. It's can sometimes be challenging to keep up with organizing my paper records. I've been trying to find something to reduce my carbon footprint for my antiquated note taking. I have an injury which hurts me when I type since I type rather fast. I am so far in love. It arrived just today and I've only had a few hours to pay around. I love how smooth it is to write. I haven't gotten to explore all it's features but I'm excited. And I hate buying new cars, phones, laptops, etc. It's very similar feel to electronic reading devices (think Kindle). If you are regularly attending meetings at work it for charity or other events, this would be an ideal investment!

I love this! I was hesitant on the price. However, I take a lot of notes with my college courses. I can't begin to describe how handy it is to have all of my notes in one place. Instead of using multiple paper notebooks, I have this! The ability to organize and create something that you want - is incomparable to a paper notebook. The writing ability is off the charts. When you're writing on paper and you mess up, you scribble it out. With this you have the Erase option! You can create documents and write notes with whichever way fits you best. The screen size is great, it's not the size of a piece of paper but it doesn't matter in this case. It definitely has a little bit of weight to it too! I thought it would be lighter than it is, but the weight makes it easier to hold it while writing. The accuracy of the pen to the tablet is on point, I cannot find any complaints about this product. The only thing I can say is I am so glad I made this choice!!!

Purchased the Remarkable 2 Sept 2024 and used it for a few months. It was cluttered after a while making it difficult to keep up with important notes and it collected dust up until the fall of 2025. Remarkable did some updates and now you can easily track and categorize notes with custom tags. I've also noticed the pen styles have been improved plus you can create perfect lines, boxes, and circles making everything look clean. I'm using the calligraphy pen for writing and the pencil medium to create divider lines and boxes. Looks really great and I've received several compliments from colleagues. Been using it daily for six months and it's extremely useful.
