After all these years, (74) this is the first pair of Croc’s that I’ve ever purchased. I’ve tried plastic type shoes in the past that always made my feet feel too warm and sweaty, so I stayed away from these. But I read an article the other day about how the Croc brand was becoming more popular, given a boost by Covid and so many people working from home or just hanging out at home more and buying them. So I took a chance and ordered these Classic Navy Crocs. When the package arrived, I couldn’t believe how unbelievably light in weight they are. I ordered a size 9 which is pretty much what I wear these days. They looked big and clunky and my toe comes quite a ways from the top, but the fit is actually perfect. I thought they would fall off when I walked, but that is not a problem at all. They stay on whether I flip the strap up, or down around the back of my heels. I have never had them slip off so far. When the strap is down around my heel, it fits loosely, but I have to use my other foot or hand to move it down to remove them. When I put it up over the top, I can slip them on and off easier, but they still don’t come off when I’m walking. Maybe that’s due to the little slightly raised dots all over the inside footbed. Just enough to keep my feet from slipping, but not enough to be uncomfortable. There is only the slightest arch support although I tried a pair of thin shoe pads which gave them some cush, a little support, and are pretty much invisible. But they did make my feet sweat a little due to the slightly snugger fit. Although there isn’t much cush to them, they don’t feel real hard either. We have tile floors throughout most of our downstairs and they aren’t quite as hard as walking on the floor. I slip them on first thing in the morning, so I guess they are comfortable in their own way. I go barefoot indoors most of the summer anyway, so it isn’t really an issue. These are like going barefoot with the advantage of protecting the sole of your foot if you step on prickly things. Or in the dog poop on the sidewalk that you didn’t notice. Speaking of dog poop, tyou can use as much soap and water on these as you want without harming them and they air dry in minutes or dry off with a towel or paper towel instantly. They certainly are ugly looking, but they grow on you. Sort of like a Bulldog or Persian cat. Within a short while you grow to love them. In fact, I bought a second pair of classic light tie dye Crocs which my Amazon driver delivered yesterday. OMG, light, bright and colorful! Just the thing an old hippie like me could fall in love with! Even my husband said he liked them. (Said he didn’t think he would ever wear anything like that, but he commented on them several times throughout the day.) They even make a pair of Jimmy Buffet beach Crocs with lime, umbrella, ice cubes and even the “lost shaker of salt” Jibbitz. Very cool for a Parrothead, but can’t imagine those accessories that look like they could be dog toys staying on the Crocs! I’ve only had these around a week, so I can’t say how long they’ll last, but they feel sturdy and well made in spite of their incredible lightness.

Comfortable and fits true to size. Quality is very good as well. The color was just as expected. Comfortable when walking not hard on the feet

Sized correctly. Be careful to read platform bottoms versus regular. I made the mistake of not ordering the correct pair the first time.

The comfort is almost unmatched the lightweight feel, easy slip‑on design, and the fun variety of colors all hit the mark. The material is easy to clean, which makes them ideal for quick errands or casual wear. If you’re looking for super‑easy, comfortable, everyday shoes that you can slide on and off, these are a solid choice. Just keep in mind: for heavy use or long walking sessions you might want something with stronger support. They run very wide.

Ok, so I never thought I would wear Crocs but after years and years of hype through movies, online, word of mouth, internet, and personal friends, I figure I'd try them. And they were all correct! These really are great feeling things for my feet. They aren't cool looking (at least not for an American non-hipster male) but boy are the nice feeling and functional. Specifically on function, I was looking for a camp slipper that I could slip on around the campsite/RV/Campground/lodge/cabin and walk outside without putting on boots or sneakers. Sandals are ok if you're a boy or when on an island beach but anywhere else, nope. Moccasins are ok, but typically they do not have a hard sole. So camp slippers with hard soles are becoming a thing but they are typically over $80 and at that point they are just a really cheap boot. So Crocs help fill the void and niche for a camp slipper. Of course, Crocs are not insulated but inside I usually have socks on so these are perfect, esp in non cold months or climates because with socks or no socks I can slip the feet right into these things. And so far, without socks these things do not make the feet hot (at least not mine) so not a lot of foot sweat and the resulting stink. What I have learned is that these things do stretch, at least a little which is good. I ordered a size 9 ( i wear a 9.5 in boots/drewss shoes [Danner, Allen Edmonds, Sperry) and tennis shoes are a 10 [Nike, Adddis, Chucks]) and when they first arrived, the left one fit perfectly but the right one seemed a tad small since a couple of my toes were just barely bumping up against the front of the croc. Plus I kinda thought my heals were right on the back edge of the croc but despite this , they were still pretty comfy but not great. Plus,the first few days of ownership and wearing without socks, the tops and sides of my feet were getting a few hot spots from rubbing. But nonetheless, I continued to wear them and powered through hoping they would get better and rather quickly (within a couple weeks) with casual wearing these feel better (my right toes no longer barely touches the front and no hot spots) but I still feel like my heels are on the back edges of the crocks so I think they maybe too short. But I really like that they fit snug and never feel like a flip-flop that could slide right off my feet, even when barefoot in them. Plus the nubs have a great massaging effect - super sensitive feet may not like it but the nubs are soft and with socks i can't feel them. But because of how good these feel, I want to believe the size 10 will feel better and as a result I have a size 10 on the way. If you can find these in the store, I would try on several pairs of the same size just to see if they fit slightly different due to variances in the QA/QC. I think a person would be able to find the perfect fit in the store, esp. if they are between sizes like I am. if my size 9 were just a tad larger they would be perfect. As it is, I'm expecting the size 10 to be a little too big and slip around but I'm hoping they will work and not slide around but I expect them to feel just a little bit better, otherwise I'll stick to the smaller size due to a potentially better fit.

De modeprijs ga je niet winnen met crocs, maar ze zitten en lopen wel erg comfortabel. De maat lijkt een paar millimeter kleiner dan de vorige editie.
