I guess. This tripod is sturdy enough. I hope it helps.

Q: Will this hold a 7lb strobe light?

I would say so, yes. I would use a sand bag though seeing that the stand may weigh 7 lbs itself. This stand isn’t like most of the cheaper light stands, it’s a tad bit beefier. It’s a decent stand for what it is and the cost. I’ve put a 13” production monitor on mine to pull focus on.

Q: What is the length of the 220cm stand when folded?

I would say about 40” when closed up.
