StoreAway 1200L - Flat

I had read previous reviews before purchasing and read that water leaked in through the back panel. You have 2 options to overcome this. I drilled a series of tiny holes at the base of the channel into which the back panel sits. These are small enough to let any rain out and stop insects getting in. This is a design floor but easily overcome. The alternative is to mastic the panel in on assembly. The first option is the best. Very easy to assemble. It appears a bit flimsy with the top up and the doors open as there is no cross member to hold it all together. Having said that when the doors are closed and the lid is down it becomes robust. I am very pleased with it. It will store all 6 garden chairs and a few other bits and bobs. Thoroughly recommend.

👍 very dark brown - almost black 👍 spacious enough for what I need it for 👍 weatherproof and neat 🤔 easyish to build. Better imagery needed in manual to illustrate the back wall build and how to hang the doors 🤬 👎 lacks rigidity - especially when opened. Be nice if the optional shelf was included FOC to bring some sturdiness across the width. 🤔 is it worth £143? Probably - as it took me 20 mins to build alone. You couldn’t build a weatherproof store of this size out of wood - and it would take a weekend to do.

Putting this together was horrific. Parts did not line up, most holes were not pre-drilled or in any way marked, many of the screws provided were too large for where they needed to go. You need to be a contortionist with a magic screwdriver to attach the roof hinges. (Seriously how are you supposed to get your screwdriver in there??) Once I finally got it put together the roof wouldn't close properly, plus a piece I needed had been broken in transport, so I had to go to customer support. They were friendly and helpful but that was another month-long ordeal that ended with me paying customs charges for a part I didn't need (and the piece I did need - broken AGAIN!) So now if I wiggle it a certain way the roof will go down flat and I super glued the broken piece and used it anyway. One good yank would pull open the doors regardless of the padlock but I wasn't looking for something high security. It's too big to send back and it seems to be keeping things dry in our moderate weather (haven't been through any huge storms, etc) so it will do for now. I would definitely recommend you give this a miss though.

The Duramax Cedargrain StoreAway 850L Garden Storage Box does the job, but I was expecting a little more given the price point. Assembly was straightforward enough, though like several other reviewers, I found some parts damaged on arrival. In my case, the cracks were internal and not visible once assembled, so I opted to keep it rather than go through the hassle of returning it. Once built, it looks fine, but the overall structure feels noticeably flimsier than I’d anticipated. I’d assumed it would be comparable to the quality of Keter products, but it feels lighter and less robust in comparison. The panels flex more than expected, and while it holds together, it doesn’t give the same sense of durability. A few design details also miss the mark. There’s no mechanism to hold the lid open, which makes loading awkward at times, and the closing latch is fairly basic. It’s functional, but not particularly refined. I’d also hoped it would fit our standard British wheelie bins - my mistake for not checking dimensions more carefully - but the internal capacity falls just short. On the positive side, it does provide useful weatherproof storage for smaller garden items, and the cedargrain effect is visually appealing enough once in place. For light use, it serves its purpose.

Die Box entspricht unseren Vorstellungen, ich benutze sie u meinen Kugelgrill vor Witterung zu schützen, außerdem passt alles Grillzubehör mit in die Box. Zur Zeit stehen noch ein paar Stapelstühle als Reserve mit in der Box. Der Aufbau war verhältnismäßig einfach da alle Teile gut gekennzeichnet sind. Um den Deckel zu verschrauben braucht man wie beschrieben zwei Personen.

Easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. Everything went together well. The only area I am sad about, is I got it and waited 7 months to put it together. The area on the bottom right where the door snaps in is cracked. I guess it is too late to call the manufacturer. However it still works well.
