Do not buy this camera unless you have no problem installing a questionable app to your mobile to do some unknown configuration that may or may not compromise your network or leak your wifi password somewhere. There is no way to manually configure this camera. Most cameras will allow you to connect to them via a web based admin (http(s)://camera_ip:80 ) so you can view the feed and configure them to your preferences. All of this can happen without installing anything and you can know what it going on, and can access the cameras directly.Unfortunately with these cameras there is no way to set this up without using a 3rd party app on a mobile phone you download from China, its not in the app stores. There is a PC based app but it is only for viewing cameras that have already been setup but it has no usable instructions so don't bother with it. If you get to the point where the cams are working use Ispy.When the cam arrives it is in AP mode, so it shows up as an access point you can connect to. I had to guess the password, it is 12345678. I can connect and ping the camera, and I can even access the RTSP video feed from with VLC. The quality is OK on the video.But there is no web admin to be found to be able to enter in my wifi SSID and password to get it to join my network, whereby I would normally setup port forwarding so I could access each camera directly from anywhere.If you don't care if other people are potentially watching your cameras or accessing your network or compromising your mobile phone then I would rate these maybe 3 stars.I have an open question about how to configure these cameras without a mobile phone and if there a solution I will update my review accordingly. Otherwise these are going back within the next week. Bummer.

I bought this camera to be able to check in on my pup while I'm at work. I don't really care for the app that I have to force kill in order to stop data usage, but the camera quality is really quite awesome as long as there's a decent light source in the room. Even just daylight thru the curtains is enough to get a good picture. I was pleasantly surprised.

I bought one to keep an eye on my daughter that sleep walks. She has issues eating in her sleep so I wanted to see her pattern. The camera was great. So great I bought 4 more. These camera are well worth the $25.99 I paid for them. I plan on buying more.

I use this as a baby monitor for my 8month old daughter. This product works perfectly, just as advertised. I can connect to all devices that I've tried. The audio works both ways and the video even works in the dark. The setup wasn't too difficult and the quality it pretty clear

This camera is wonderful for the price. Great picture. Wish the cord was a little longer but I've been able to deal with that. Could not believe the price so I can't complain. I want another one!

The media could not be loaded.  I could not get the app to connect to the camera device on my phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 4) or any of my home laptops. There is no device information on the box except a QR code, and the app software while trying to connect was loud and annoying. You cannot connect this to your computer unless you have the device info. Chrome also warned me repeatedly that the website with the desktop software was not a safe site.There isn't even device info on the device. After about 10 minutes plugged in it started making a buzzing noise that continues now every time I plug it in, so it cannot be used in my child's bedroom. Returning.

This camera didn't suit my needs, however the customer service was wonderful and directed me to another model (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HT12CQW).Five stars for great customer service

My wife and I had been using the Dropcam (the name before it was bought by Nest) as a baby monitor. When she became pregnant with our second child we decided that we needed another camera but were not about to spend a fortune on the Nest. The Camecho Smart IP is certainly a cheaper alternative. It looks and functions much like the Dropcam. It is similar in design, though the plastic is of cheaper quality. The picture quality is about the same which is what really matters. The biggest downside I can think of is that the Camecho Smart IP is highly sensitive to the switch from light to dark. We currently have the camera placed on our bedroom nightstand facing the baby's cradle and when it's midday the infrared will sometimes switch on and off several times in a row. I've learned that if you build a "cave" around the camera by placing it in-between two objects it will just stay on night mode. A minor adjustment we had to make that, to me, is still worth the savings. Contrary to what I have read in other reviews, the camera is very easy to setup. The instructions aren't the greatest but if you are semi tech-savvy (I assume you are if you are shopping for a Wi-Fi camera) then you should have no problem setting this up in 10 minutes. I'm not sure how this camera compares to the other cheap alternatives out there but it gets the job done for my situation as an additional baby monitor.

Set up easy but need to down load apps for operate.the only thing I concern is the 'click/dic' sound happen when after evening ordark that on the night mode, and I send this matter to tech. dept., they just tellme to build a 'case' to surround both side of the unit to avoid the dic sound, itdoesn't help !

The instructions are in (really) broken English and I have no idea or any way of figuring out how to record the videos properly. It seems to be randomly recording, sometimes not... what the heck?It still might be sufficient for live streaming but the recording process is just bad.

The product its perfect and good quality. Easy to use. The support service its very fast.
