This is the best dye fixer ever. I even used it in our regular laundry to remove any build up from softeners or grime. Our bath towels are like new again. My niece used it on her spouses work clothes & he noticed how much cleaner his work clothes were. I recommend Synthropol for tie-dye, it's a must have to use for Prewash & final dye removal. A little goes a long way. Only takes 3 tbsp per washer load & your items are ready to wear fresh out of the dryer.

I've have had many fabric colour bleed disasters with my quilts over the years. Now I wash them with Synthrapol and hot water and the bleed doesn't happen with this method. The loose dye is suspended in the water and doesn't settle back down on the fabric

Works great in your washing machine and any fabrics that will fade in the wash.

I still haven't used it but will soon try it in a wash to remove red bleeding of fabric in a quilt I made.

After doing some research, I bought this to pre-wash shirts to tie-dye and then for the post-wash. My kids typically get me a kit for my birthday, just for something fun to do together. After using this soap, the colors saturated and locked in noticeably better than ever before. Definitely worth the investment, as the results were terrific!
