RAM Mounts Twist-Lock Suction Cup Base with Ball RAM-B-224-1U with B Size 1" Ball for Vehicle Windshields

I am commenting on 3 products which, together, make up a suction cup mount for an iPhone 6 Plus or similarly sized device. -RAM 3.5" Suction Cup Mount - RAM-B-224-1U -RAM Double Socket Swivel Arm for 1-Inch Ball - RAP-B-200-2U -RAM Universal X-Grip IV Large Phone/Phablet Holder with 1-Inch Ball - RAM-HOL-UN10BU I am so satisfied with this purchase that I felt compelled to write a review. The fit, finish, ruggedness, ease of use and price all met or exceeded my expectations. And that's not easy to do! I'm the type of person who believes in "a place for everything, and everything in its place". This mount allows me to put my phone exactly where I want it while driving and it stays put - period. You should know a couple things if you plan to purchase: 1. this mount is not stealthy - you will notice it, especially when you don't have your phone in it and also from other angles such as the passenger seat. I would advise trying different locations to minimize obstructing your view. This is not a problem, but it's something to consider. The advantages to the way this mount is made are the design and material. It won't break and it won't move around while driving. 2. RAM makes an excellent product, but ultimately it's up to you the consumer to make sure you buy the right combination of parts to optimally fit your need. I owe thanks to another reviewer here on Amazon to tipping me off to the double socket swivel arm. I would have otherwise bought the 6" Long Arm (RAM-B-201U-C) but I wouldn't have been able to adjust the fit nearly as well as I can with the RAP-B-200-2U. Research RAM's options, understand where and how you want to use it and read other Amazon Reviews. If you do, I have no doubt you will be pleased. Thanks Amazon for getting it here exactly when you promised in perfect condition.

Works great and stays on my windshield, only small gripe is where the ball head attaches the screw holes don’t have any threads and was difficult to install and one of them comes out a bit but other than that great

Like all of my Ram products that I use, this one keeps the quality promise, and does the job very well. Using my X-Grip phone holder using various attachments on my bicycle, motorcycle and now with this windscreen attachment in my car and i love it. Holds firmly, no slipping, moving or shaking. Definitely recommend

Egal ob auf der Windschutzscheibe oder auf glattem Armaturenbrett: kein Wackeln, kein Nachjustieren – einfach draufdrehen und fertig. Selbst bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung, langen Fahrten und holprigen Straßen bleibt alles da, wo es hingehört. Der Kugelkopf ist super robust und passt natürlich perfekt ins modulare RAM-System – wie man’s kennt und liebt. Wer genug hat von billigen Halterungen, die nach drei Tagen abfallen, sollte hier zuschlagen. Qualität, die einfach begeistert. RAM Mount eben.

This grips my windshield very firmly. I thought during the summer heat that it may lose grip but so far it’s holding strong. It easily supports my iPhone Pro Max. Definitely buy again.
