Very Nice Sling
I needed a sling for a shotgun. I have other Magpul slings so I tried this 1 and it's perfect for my needs. It gives me all the adjustment I need so I'm very happy. I know from my other Magpul slings that its very durable.I hope this helps you.GOD Bless.

Solid sling, good design
I like the “simple” design which is not connected to any attachment pieces. You can use this for anything, as opposed to the ones that are permanently attached to devices on each end. This can be looped directly around a stock for example without an attachment, so it will hang from the top and stay upright. This sling also has a lot of length which is ideal; you can set it where it’s very short, or where it is long enough to wrap your arm around it (for support) and grab the hand guard still. The quick adjustment fastener is nice, it can loosen up at times, but if you don’t like it then just don’t use it (put it towards the stock end of the firearm in that case and it will never budge). I haven’t had an issue with it at all I like that adjustment piece. It feels solid and well made (it’s wide so make sure you don’t buy the small little QD or manual connectors, even though they’ll work they’ll squeeze it and make it harder to pull through, get wider ones).

I could take it or leave it.
The quality is good, as has always been my experience with Magpul items.I am not a want-a-be operator and thus will never be using this in any sort of real life tactical situation, so for me it is just a sling for one of my rifles, therefore the whole quick adjust thing is just a novelty for me.While I understand its use, I have no experience with quick adjust slings and thus I see no significant benefit to the sling that other more experienced people will.Due to my inexperience, the quick adjust is awkward and sometimes requires two hands to operate, but that might improve if/when I use this sling in a few rifle classes and get some pointers.Overall, I needed a sling and have no regrets with this purchase.

Excellent upgrade!
Originally, my wife and I both had cheap single point slings on our AR style rifles. I had a sling that was way to complicated and had buckles everywhere, so it tended to snag on my gear alot. It was also very difficult to get sized correctly. My wife also had a cheap single point sling (a different brand) but we had serious problems getting it sized correctly. The smallest the sling would go left the end of the receiver hanging around her stomach, and she is a whole 5'2" tall (she swears she is 5'3"...lol), so the muzzle is only about an inch or so off the ground, and sometime she wound up with the muzzle hitting the ground and such. She got her Magpul 2 point sling first, and she was instantly impressed. We were able to get hers installed, sized, and have her practicing with it in less than 5 minutes. She really liked the slider and how easy it was to use.I got mine the next week, and can say that this sling was an enormous improvement over my previous sling. I was able to wear it multiple ways, easily adjust the size without removing the sling from my body, and transition shoulders (shoot left or right side) without any problems at all. I highly recommend this as an inexpensive but important upgrade for any rifle.

Right sling for use on an AR15.
This is kind of a new one for me. Most rifle sling purchases in my past we're for hunting rifles / mostly bolt actions. Ease of carry and comfort we're the primary considerations. A well padded, soft leather sling is not (I guess) a tactical option. A military sling in my book is pretty stiff leather with two rolls of punch holes and the usual hardware for making adjustments. Obviously, the AR is a different configuration that needs a different sling. The "Magpul" is reasonably comfortable, webbing is the right combination of material to offer a soft feel yet it stays in place without bunching on the swivel attachments. Adjustments are quick and secure allowing for carry mode, off hand and prone shooting positions. I like it! Value? It may look a bit pricey but I'd pay twice the price as it's made here in the U.S.A. Putting a Chinese (or other) sling on an AR is almost sacrilegious.
