I'm taking this lame class online that I must take because the degree ...
I have critical thinking skills. There, I said it. Can I be charmed by the presence of an author right in front of my face given the right time, place, mental space I am in? You bet. Who here cannot recall a time that they were swayed by the presence of another person just based on the argument they raised or the politics they beheld? Raise your hand. Okay, that's what I thought.So. I'm taking this lame class online that I must take because the degree I am enrolled in says I must, And the course is lame, the curriculum is lame, the university is lame, but I'll not name names (Aspen University) (Out of Denver) (Don't do it). Anyway, If I must take this class, then I must insert my opinion everywhere and often.Basically, here is my (un-charmed, unraveled) critique of the book. Yes, it sucks a wee bit on examples and some of the definitions are nebulous. An overall glossary of terms would be fantastic, but alas, it is missing. However, if one looks at the end of each chapter, one will see a list of terms that coincide with the questions and, following each term sits a page number in which one may reference the said term in the said question. WOW. Could the textbook be more enabling? I can't say so, but that's super helpful. Wouldn't you agree? For those who are frustrated with the non-codependent psychological nature of this book, think about it. Learning theory dictates that a person learns more if they go out and seek it, instead of being spoon fed (like your momma did when you were two years old). You have to do just a wee itty bit to come to understand what you're doing. I give kudos to the authors for helping me with that. So you see, they aren't trying to block you from accessing the information. They're just implementing the process of learning. And if you can't get what you are looking for from the info in the book, then I bet you know what needs to happen next. As all wise healthcare professionals will tell you, GET A SECOND opinion (cough cough letmegooglethatforyou.com?) Do the work and learn. It's simple artificial intelligence 101 (AI to you and me). So there you have it. Another snarky analysis on Analysis (Sytems and Design, that is) from yours truly, Kelly Belly. You're welcome.

Clear and crisp
The author knows about the students mentality and has written the book with passion. He makes all the topics understandable with real world examples.

It was in very good condition
The book was in a very good condition and it was international version but it was the same like the regular one except for the exercise questions there more in the regular book but I didn't have any problem with it. The seller mentioned this to me when I bought the book and he was right.

Not a helpful book.
I rented this book out for a college course I took and the results at the end of the year were not good. The class was interesting but the book was cryptic and provided very little insight on what it was trying to explain. There are paragraphs full of "fluff" where they could just explain the subject in a few sentences. To top it off, there were very little examples to help. Instructors, avoid this book at all costs for the sanity of your students.

A lot of information, but can be confusing.
This book makes my head spin. It has a lot of information. But sometimes the wording is so confusing to explain a relatively simple concept.

and I used it for a class so I'm sure it conveys most of the information accurately and that a lot of it is useful actually. I'm
First of all this book has a lot of information, and I used it for a class so I'm sure it conveys most of the information accurately and that a lot of it is useful actually. I'm giving it 2 stars because I think the presentation of the information was that bad in some parts of the book. It's wordy, lengthy and hard to consume. It could have been much more straightforward and concise than it was, but hey it's a text book, right? If your getting it for a class then you may have to get it anyway. If you are thinking about getting it just to learn the subject, DON'T. There are free online sources, articles, and so forth about this kind of thing on programming blogs and online magazines and so forth. Or perhaps there is a more concise, straightforward book out there that you could buy.

Use on my kindle app for iPad
I use this on my Kindle app for my iPad. It is formatted like a pdf file so you can't increase the font size, however you can zoom in and since it is an exact duplicate of the hard copy, i can use the books pagination when citing the work in my papers. It doesn't use Kindles cheesy location format.
