How long does it take for the awful smell of this bag to dissipate? i love the bag but my god, it reeks out of the box.

Can anyone compare this to the 511 wingman? Is this one more sturdy with the 900d fabric, I see the 511 is only 600d

I have been using this for the past year and a half and I would absolutely say it is as good if not better than the wingman.
