Results are not obvious
I applied this to very old patio bricks, and it has actually helped divert rain runoff to a center drain. The applied matte finish it is undetectable from bare brick. It’s not magic, but if you have good drainage already, this helps prevent mildew/algae and keeps water out of porous brick. It also seems to help wash soil and other debris away. When applied and allowed to dry, it is hard to tell the difference between treated and untreated surface, so you need to mark where you start and stop if you do not do the whole thing in one pass. It is super easy to apply if you use a $20 garden sprayer and wash the sprayer out between applications.

Just what I needed
Sealed the stone behind and under my wood stove with 2 coats. Had enough left for my son in law to do their stone fireplace surround. Made the white stone nice and smooth with no discoloration and sealed the grout.

LastiSeal-Works As Advertised!
We enclosed a covered 21'x14' open patio with a 2ft high brick\mortar wall and 6' tall weather proof vinyl windows, creating a wonderful Sun Room addition. Our concern for weather penetration through the double brick wall and mortar was confirmed with the first heavy rain storm. Although there was no standing water intrusion, the very porous clay bricks\mortar quickly acted like a dry sponge and dampened the now living space interior of the sun room's masonry window foundation...not good. After doing extensive on-line research, I came upon the RadonSeal products and quickly identified their polyester polymer based "LastiSeal" Brick and Masonry Sealer as what we needed to block any moisture\rain intrusions. After speaking with Craig at RadonSeal, he confirmed that their LastiSeal product would be a great solution to our sun room's moisture issues. As weather became optimum (but winds were strong), I choose to apply the treatments with a brush (very easy and simple). Our bricks and mortar are so porous, the first treatment soaked in with the surface dry-to-the-touch in 5 minutes! As per directions, 24 hours later I reapplied (again with brush) and the second application took 2 hours for surface to dry. Through all of the applications and once dry to the touch, the brick\mortar surfaces returned to their original colors, again matching our home's brick-veneer facade! Two days after the 2nd application and again twice in the past 3 weeks, thunderstorms soaked the brick\mortar exterior walls of the sun room with absolutely NO moisture intrusion into the interior...WOW! We really love our new sun room addition and understanding that LastiSeal never needs reapplying, I can unequivocally state, "LastiSeal is Worth Every Penny"!!! Ted

Even After Two Coats, it doesn't Work
I bought this after reading the description on this, hoping it would repel water like an old product I used years ago, called Thoroclear Special. I applied this concoction EXACTLY as the directions stated, doing it early in the morning, avoiding applying it in the heat, and hot sun. It dried fairly quick. It dried for 24 hours, or more, before it rained on the stone veneer wall, and sidewalk. I didn't repel water at all..!! I then put a second coat on the same area, and it dried 72 hours before the rain came again. After a second application, I thought it would repel water, but, it certain areas, it did nothing. Others, it repelled a little, but the veneer, and the sidewalk, still darkened from the moisture. For the price, this product was useless. I wasted my time and effort applying it. I will look for something else. I would NOT recommend this product..!

So far so good!!
So far so good. We recently purchased a home with a stone fireplace, and an addition on the back side, so rock is exposed inside addition. Every time it would rain, water would leak out of the stone into the addition room. Upon inspection on the roof, you could tell previous owners had tried multiple ways to stop leak. I reluctantly spent the money on the 2.5 gallon container, because my chimney is very large. Applied a generous amount with pump up sprayer. 2 weeks later, and 2 heavy rains, no leaks! I am ordering another container. Will apply a second coat when it arrives just for good measure, then will reapply every couple years. I know it says 15 year lifespan, but for 150 bucks, every couple years, its a small price to pay. Roofer would have charged me that much just to drive out here. So far, this product is unbelievably effective. Huge fan!

Last for a full year
I live in the mountains where we have a fairly decent winter/ freason temperatures which can ruin concrete by allowing water to enter it and then freeze and crack the concrete. I pressure wash several properties and then come back a day or two when the cement is dry and spray this product onto the concrete with a pump up sprayer and it seals great until next spring

You better ask somebody
If you’re in the line of work of brick sealing concrete block sealing, or any thing of that nature this is the product for you. If you’re not using this, what are you doing? This product, it's extraordinary extravagant, marvelous, magnificent. It’s by far the best brick sealant I’ve ever used. It helps stop wind driven rain from penetrating brick/block. Helps preventing brick pitting. Paint bonds to it. It extends the life of some paints. (Except latex). It comes in satin or flat. I recommend it. 💯
